Huh, an unexpected support for Alexis’s bunch of cards. Now if we would get some updated versions of her Warrior-type monsters, tributing Cyber Tutu for Cyber Prima would not really be a power move even 15 years ago.

Prima Light IS from the Osiris Red pack, also, that pack’s new cards are all from GX anime
So a new update for Cyber Tutu and Cyber Prima would have to be in another set
They got some ritual-related retrains when Alexis appeared in Arc-V but they did not really work with Prima’s Light anyway and were mostly ignored. Make direct attack from Tutu non-conditional and slap search of Prima’s Light on summon and make new Prima whose effect works on special summon and perhaps allow player to choose between destroying s/t or monsters. New Etoile searching Poly and obligatory in-theme fusion spell and new Cyber Blader (more powerful but with less potential for degenerate locks?) and maybe some fusion with new Prima for kick-ass big boss, Do whatever with Gymnast, lmao. Blade Skater is probably the most useful already existing card due to being Normal monster with favorable type, attribute and level.

and its despite possible tribute cyber tutu for cyber prima.
I was wrong about Kaibaman being revealed at OCG Times, but it is thematic for him to be revealed here alongside Gaia Stream, since Blue-Eyes’s signature move is Burst Stream of Destruction.
And we may get Slifer Red news at OCG Times too, and not have to wait until VJMP for the remaining 4 cards. Prima Light is really good though. Aside from its intended Deck, you can also use it in a wide variety of EARTH Warrior Decks to go into your generic LIGHT Warrior extenders, and especially Star.
Okay so we are most likely going to get Slifer Red news at OCG Times instead of the remaining cards being at VJMP next month.

Warrior “Cyber” support in my lifetime!? You love to see it. The bad news is the first effect won’t trigger Cyber Prima. GX cards not working as they should, many such cases. Annual reminder that we need Tutu’s anime artwork.
Reminds me of how that one Misawa yokai can’t get its effect triggered by its related trap because the trap was released years later.
Yeah, I can definitely see a number of people building Gaia Stream OTK decks, just like with Junk Warrior decks and Shooting Quazar decks.
Use Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger as stepping stone to get more Materials and 1400 more ATK

New Kaibaman is a good card… but I wish they would had upgraded his design to be a bit cooler instead of making it feel like a mere alternate art.

Dammit, the first effect of Prima Light should have counted as a Tribute Summon. That’s all.ot needed to do. Now it doesn’t trigger Cyber Prima’s effect.
if you’re summoning from the hand the 2nd half of the effect does the same thing though, you normal summon a light warrior that needs a tribute anyways?
In the anime, Cyber Prima could trigger off of summoning with the effect because it doesn’t require being tribute summoned. They slapped that nerf on the card when it was released in OCG. All they needed to do was make that first effect treated as a Tribute Summon. That second effect wouldn’t be needed. I think they just don’t want you to be able to trigger Cyber Prima from the deck.
Which makes the first effect pointless. Cyber Prima was her only LIGHT Warrior. Why even have that effect if Cyber Prima can’t trigger off of it? There’s now no use for that first effect in the deck it was made for.
So… That’s how they intend to consolidate Anime!Alexis’s Cyber Athletes and Cyber Angel themes.

Alexis is the only one to ever use Warrior “Cyber” monsters except that random one from Espa.
The Fiend Megacyber, called a Fiend in TCG and Magic in OCG it for sure made sense being a Warrior and for sure made sense to retrain it as Psychic Megacyber and make it a Machine type. :/

Koala reprints says probably. Hopefully makes “Koala” canon archetype (and maybe Kangaroo) and not just degenerate into only generic Beast support.
Maybe something like: “Target 1 Level 4 or lower “Koala” monster in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it, then you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Beast monster with the same or less DEF as the target from your hand.”
It’s kinda sad how GX had a lot of potentially cool characters that got dropped or never expanded upon. Anyone remembers that Hayato/Chumley (i hate dub names…) was able to see duel spirits (albeit he was not completely aware of it) and Des Koala was his spirit partner? Dude had potential to be on the same level as Jaden, Chazz, Jessie and rest of big boys.

Sho has a few unreleased cards to go alongside the roid reprints but I’m certain none of them are from season 1. Anyway, we need Thunder Nyan Nyan Roid.
None of the anime only Ojama and Level support cards from Chazz are from season 1 either. Which makes the last new cards a curious mystery. They could invent Fire Dragon for Misawa, but then he also has Amorphous Barrier and Last Magnet missing. Though if Last Magnet was being made, one would think Litmus would be the reprint in this set instead of the Chemisaurs and Water Dragon.
FINALLY! A real reason to run 3 blue eyes white dragons so people stop saying im trolling all the time!
