The Spellcaster Cinematic Universe is real.
V Jump has stated that this month’s chapter was the conclusion of the Magistus arc, and the 3rd story will be the “Magical War”, i.e. the conflict between Endymion and the Prophecy monsters described in Master Guide 4.
They tease that the child of Artemis/Selene/Reflection will be the key to the plot. For those who haven’t been following the manga, this kid was introduced in the first chapter of the Magistus arc, which has been framed as the mother telling them the story of how she met Endymion… 100 years earlier.
Since part 3 is a direct sequel to part 2, expect the Witchcrafters and the Invoked to pop up as well.

That short-end scare was real, but I’m glad we have confirmation that we are simply moving on to later events and this will be a direct sequel to what came before.
Lowkey, I am sad that likely means we’re probably done with the Magistus card support, bar them printing cards related to unreleased concepts (like that one dude who got cursed into an awesome-looking armored form, or perhaps a Chorozo evolution of some kind). But I’m happy we’ve now opened the door for direct Endymion support and possibly Witchcrafter, Invoked, and Prophecy.
I mean, Invoked are key to Prophecy because Aliester made Prophecy.
I’ve been waiting for Konami to remind everyone that Endymion is cowardly leader who enacts war and turns tail when the prophecy AHEM clapback when a kid grabs a book to help defend his home being invaded
IF NOT then I anticipate Konami trying to rewrite the lore and make Endymion somehow right because he is this supposed master magician
I won’t stand for any slander of my goat
Endymion saw a bunch of idiots handing out magic without thought of the dangers so he decided to step in. Then the Prophecy group proved him right when they let Mat grab one of their forbidden books and become a Death Sorcerer who began to kill everyone. Also, the Prophecy kids took Endymion’s dear friend Alistair and, rather than help him after a failed experiment, decided to lock him up and use him as a living battery.
We aren’t getting any conclusion to the Magistus arc then?
Endymion’s brother trying to assassinate him was a dropped thread.
We don’t know why Zoroa just has a voice inside his head before he absorbed Vahram.
No conclusion to their conflict I guess we just have to assume Zoroa dies even though they teased the calamity art being in the story early on.
We don’t even get to see the main conclusion to the story of theurgy getting closed.
Left me wanting more. And it seems like I’m not or ever gonna.
This is a direct sequel to the story. It’s entirely possible some or all of these plot threads get expanded upon.
Endymion should be the central character for the first half of Part 3. His past and political connections will be a bigger deal there, especially once the world overcomes their initial shock of magic now being a commodity. Endymion is known for disguising himself (Artemis/Selene eventually does the same), so it is implied his political conflicts will be a major source of conflict in the early stages of the next arc.
Zoroa’s voice in his head was likely Vahram, and my headcanon is because Zoroa started out as a Tuner monster (none of the other Magistus monsters initially were aside from Chorozo, who has a similar but not exact power to detect magic pouring into their world). He had this dormant ability to resonate with a Synchro monster all this time.
I assume a lot of what you mention will be mentioned or resolved in the next chapter. Zoroa partially succeeds by pouring magic into the world and now making it a place to accept magic users, even if the Theugy closes.
Invoked, Witchcrafter, and now Spellbooks too? Konami did an excellent job pivoting to the next theme organically, rather than just skip to a new theme like they did for Sky Strikers. This also means new cards for them starting with V JUMP and volume promos, and soon enough Premium Pack cards, in the distant future.
Didn’t they say in a previous lore book that Artemis/Reflection/Selene is also Witchcrafter Genni?
Artemis -> Selene/Reflection of Endymion
Servant of Endymion -> Genni
Somehow Rilliona/Madame Verre poached Genni from Endymion.
I thought Witchcrafter was before Magistus, with Rilliona formerly being the head until she gave the position to Haine (Witchcrafter Confusion Confession) to go further her magic, thus becoming a Magistus.
They live and work in Endymion’s magic City which doesn’t yet exist in the time of Magistus.
This is cool cause they are going from Magistus to the other archetypes in in the lore. It makes me think they will do that again. Makes me cope for S-Force, Psy-frame, :P, Time Thief manga after
Wait? The child of Selene? Endymion has a Child?!
Yep
I wonder what kind of name this child has. In Greek myth Selene bore Endymion 50 daughters but the only known son supposedly born to the two of them is Narcissus, the guy who fell in love with his own reflection.
Could it be, that “Fool of Prophecy” is the child of Endymion and Selene?
He is after all, the one that battles Endymion.
all I want to see is evolved Chorozo
