Not the 5 as previously thought, but still pretty good.
Damn. I kinda wish Sheep fusion summoned by destroying the fusion materials. Throw Memento some kind of bone.
It was claimed to be monsters at first, but it being “cards” is way better.
@TheMeetyMeet
Exactly, since we can now reverse search the theme’s backrow with the Field Spell and/or Ghattic.
Mementos now have more ways to Fusion instead of being stuck with Mementolan Fusion. This is what I wanted to see and there’s going to be SO many ways to work with the new Fusion, I love it!
Transcendrake are older and only ever received 1 card whut
I mean…they also only have like half the cards in the entire series. Makes sense to me.
Transcendosaurus suffers from 2 design philosophies – their primary boss must each represent a unique Attribute and summon mechanic, and they are often based on a Level 6 vanilla, with Exaraptor as the exception for now.
With no LIGHT Dinosaur vanillas to speak of, and the only summon mechanics left are Ritual and Pendulum (the two Konami wants to forget about), Transcendosaurus getting support outside of backrow is going to be somewhat unlikely.
As the WIND boss isn’t even a Pendulum unlike its original counterpart, Ritual will probably be chosen, and there are also no Dinosaur Rituals to speak of, so is it worth making a Dinosaur Ritual for a theme that is trying to use every summon mechanic? Not sure.
Trascendrake was never an archetype and that’s sad af
It was never an archetype to begin with. It’s generic Dinosaur support that also needs vanillas to work. As most players are reluctant to include vanillas in their Decks unless absolutely necessary, and Konami itself is very reluctant to print vanillas for the sake of printing them, Transcendosaurus was never going to go beyond its initial new toy syndrome wave.
We just got a recent vanilla Illusion monster and there weren’t even any card effects wanting for a Vanilla for the type.
A Illusion fusion for Memento? Anyway let’s gooo
A shame it’s not send 5, but it’s still good. Mystic Sheep is a welcome surprise too, wasn’t expecting another main deck monster. Not bad either, finally another extender.
Looks like more a rat than sheep to me
Given that you can Fusion Summon Combined Conqueror on quick effect with Sleepy, and Sleepy also sends a Memento card to the GY on destruction, Combined Conqueror only sending 3 cards on summon isn’t that bad.
More versatile than I thought. Now this is how you print a Fusion archetype, Konami TCG.
An illusion-type fusion for the Mementotlan, incredible
Another Illusion monster that does not conform to Illusion’s initial gimmick.
Yeah … Konami needs to be consistant
