Yeah, this whole pack is a big fat dud. Literally nothing outside of Mulcharmy, and arguably Varudras for Yubel players.

At this point, “duel live” havent been renamed yet to “duel replay”…
Come on, they had to make the field spell an SR? They couldn’t have made it a Rare? Does the deck even function in N/R?
Honestly, the N/R event (and by extension N/R as a format) was always a dud in Master Duel with how the game handles card rarities; it’s just that back when the event first ran it was less egregious because things were new, they’d left plenty of fun and interesting cards in the N/R range when making the initial spread of cards (for example, upgraded Felgrand and Number 77 both are rares), and they hadn’t yet proven as prone to greedily drowning newly released decks or releases of additional support for existing ones in SRs and URs the way they have by now.
Despite that, though, if we’re going to be honest with ourselves, even if plenty of people found interesting things to do with that fest, in retrospect the N/R event really drew attention to just how many key cards and important pieces of decks are SR and UR, and thus how many archetypes can’t function in said format in Master Duel.
