Further changes have been announced for the Forbidden & Limited List for Master Duel. These changes will start applying on August 8th (time zones applying), so these changes will apply later than the previously announced changes (Heavy Storm and Snatch Steal):

Ddd Orthros and Artifact Mjolnir too, and those too are basically Gimmick Puppet for different Archetypes, the most significant difference being they can’t be sent off Granguinol because of their lower levels.
Interesting. Also I wonder has anyone try combing Jowgen the Spiritualist with Sanctifire before? You can basically summon it on your field doing your opponent’s turn and prevent them from special summoning.
Can’t discard it with granguignol so you have to draw it as far as I know
Technically since Jowgen is already a Light Spellcaster all you need to do is use Branded Fusion and send Jowgen to the Graveyard to summon Sanctifire and then use its effect next turn to summon Jowgen to the field.

Isn’t good. Neither is Orthos. Neither can be dumped with Granguignol and both are easily removed by other ways. Only way to dump them is Branded Fusion, which lowers the power ceiling of the deck too much.

Nope it’s a staple for every Branded Deck. And I just spent 30 dollars on it.

when you have to start banning tons of cards because of one other card, it stops mattering if its “a staple” for some deck you play.

I mean, while Sanctifire probably deserves its own hit, them hitting Nightmare now is honestly for the best since this way it’s not skulking around when the Gimmick Puppet support eventually (or not-so-eventually if, and I’ll admit this is a big if, it jumps the line like Snake-Eye did) hits.
Gee, who would know that making monsters that block you from summoning anything but archetypal stuff and cards allowing you to throw them on opponent’s field equals cancer, especially in meta centered around cards that want you to not control any monsters.
