This event will run until February 19th (time zones applying). In order to advance in the event, you need to obtain a Friendship Chain. These chains can be obtained either by scanning a QR code at the Tokyo Dome event, or by Dueling with a Duelist that possesses a Friendship Chain or Friendship. You will not obtain chains if you surrender. You can obtain Friendships by Dueling while in possession of a Friendship Chain, which will also let you earn rewards.

There is no information about this system being deployed to Master Duel at this time, and this mostly seems to be for entertainment purposes for those attending the event. Or, you could start panicking the next time you lose to a DM or BEWD Deck in Ranked.

AI is inevitable
are you against any kind of machine opponent a game makes you play against, because all of them run on some kind of algorithm.
It’s just so happens that this peculiar algorithm is trained based on duels, and may give specific performance which is better or worse than other algorithms.
So we can get better bot opponents now instead of them having a sucky deck?
Hope it also pilots peeps who leaves mid-duel so i can really finish my comboe for the OTK unlikr tjose who leave before the finishing blow.
Good to see them finding new and innovative ways to use AI. Can’t wait for the inevitable AI renaissance, we’re kinda already there.
Are people actually complaining about AI used for NPC AI (that word existed before 2023) that’s actually hilarious. That’s literally one of the ethical uses for it in gaming with no actual real drawback.
