The original Defrostrooper and Cumin are the only applicable monsters for the second effect, and Cyberse isn’t exactly known to support Equip Spells right now. I’m glad Konami at least acknowledges the original promo card though.
One card left in the set and it is most likely another Fiend for Garzett based on set order.
Kinda crazy that OG Defrostrooper is already getting a Retrain, but it has a different way to use it.
– OG Defrostrooper sent cards from your Opponent’s Deck to the GY and worked against Decks focused on many Spell/Trap Cards in the GY. All this to recover a Spell Equip from GY to the Hand.
– Defrostrooper MKII no longer works with your Opponent’s GY, but instead works as an ATK/DEF reducer to your Opponent’s Monsters. No longer recovers Equip Spell from GY to the Hand, but you must now have your GY with FIRE Cyberse or Equip Spells.
This new version seems to be intended for use in Cybersepice (FIRE Cyberse), but the Equip Spells in the GY part is curious (will Cybersepice have Equip Spells in the future?)
It’s king of weird that it’s effect is nothing like that of the original.
They have the same requirement, and both monsters have two effects – with the optional effect only activating if there are specific cards in one of the GYs and involves an Equip Spell in your GY in some way.
Where are my Heroes, Konami?
The first Blue-Eyes were revealed in mid August 2023, about a month and a half before the late September 2023 release date.
I suspect the first cards from this Structure Deck will be revealed near the end of this month, with more reveals of the remaining cards throughout June and early July.
Hard to be interested in Rush Duels when there is little interesting going on 4 years into the format.
Guys. Remember that there’s a new legend equip spell called Mage Power. I have been playing Cyberspice and with the Defrostrooper and Mage Power effect it gets some really good combos.
You can activate Mage power more than once because you recover it with the OG defrost but you can also recover defrost using the trap, using Attractor and Queen Cinnamon
