Note: The theme’s name is emphasizing a reference to Baal, the hallowed god of the Canaanites who became a heathen force as the worshippers of El (later JHVH) became more prominent in the region. The localization does drown out the “Armonica” reference, a glass harp invented by Benjamin Franklin that was commented as sounding like an angel, but its music was also profaned as corrupting one’s mind like a demon.

I like the Memento localization. It really drives home the Aztec undead theming. Can’t wait for certain Yugitubers to rail against the new names like they always do

Somewhat old and not very important news, but org never caught it, that master duel’s implementation of Third Sarcophagus was changed to match the updated TCG text. I don’t know if its japanese text changed as well.
Memento would be the first Aztec deck or one with direct Aztec references that I see, I will follow it closely
