Because good news for Infernities always mean bad news for everyone else.
Infernities just won the World Championship 2014. Their absurd plays are nothing to laugh at, and they were definitely one of the most powerful Decks to run at that event. But some people, like Kiryuu, its original user, always wanted more. They will not stop until they are satisfied, as if a field of 5 monsters and 5 trap cards is not enough.
We previously reported an Infernity loop almost a year ago. The loop had two OTKs and one where Trishula disrupts every card the opponent has accessed. As Konami promotes Yu-Gi-Oh! as “the card game that is always evolving”, we present you the future iteration of this loop, thanks to the arrival of Cloudcastle to the TCG in Duelist Alliance.
This stems from a rumor in 2ch about a loop that would take days to accomplish. This obviously spiked our curiosity. At first, we found a loop, but it was so abstract that the author didn’t take into account that he didn’t have infinite copies of Hundred-Eyes Dragon. That’s a problem. So we went back and revisited the loop we discussed before, and we actually figured it out! But first, let’s begin with what Cloudcastle can do for your Infernity Deck.
The loop starts with the same scenario as before. Repeat every step until the beginning of loop 1, so that your field is Hundred-Eyes Dragon and Symbol of Heritage.
1) Proceed with loops 1 and 2.
2) During loop 3, step C, Xyz Summon Lavalval Chain and send any Level 9 monster from your Deck to your Graveyard. Steelswarm Longhorn seems to be a fan favorite.
3) At the end of loop 3, return Lavalval Chain as usual to the Extra Deck by the effect of Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier.
4) Repeat loops 1 and 2.
5) During loop 3, step C, Xyz Summon Lavalval Chain and send Infernity Archer from your Deck to your Graveyard. Then return Lavalval Chain to the Extra Deck eventually at the end of loop 3.
6) Repeat steps 4 & 5.
7) Repeat loops 1 and 2.
8) During loop 3, step C, Xyz Summon Lavalval Chain and send Infernity Beetle from your Deck to your Graveyard.
9) Repeat all the shenanigans and return to the beginning of loop 3.
10) This time, use Infernity Mirage to Special Summon Infernity Necromancer and Infernity Archfiend from your Graveyard.
11) Use the effect of Infernity Necromancer to Special Summon Infernity Beetle from your Graveyard.
12) Synchro Summon Cloudcastle using Infernity Necromancer, Infernity Beetle and Infernity Archfiend.
13) Use the effect of Cloudcastle to target your Level 9 monster in your Graveyard.
14) Xyz Summon Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir using Cloudcastle and your Level 9 monster.
15) Activate the effect of Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir to banish any card your opponent has (hand, field, Graveyard or Deck).
16) Return Enterblathnir to your Extra Deck by the effect of Dewloren at the end of loop 3.
This already seems to make sense, however, Cloudcastle is sent to the Graveyard once Enterblathnir is returned to the Extra Deck, so you will eventually run out of copies of Cloudcastle. Therefore, this requires even more loops! Don’t stop until you are satisfied!
17) Return to loop 3.
18) Use the effect of Infernity Mirage to Special Summon two copies of Infernity Archer.
19) Xyz Summmon Constellar Ptolemy M7.
20) Use the effect of Constellar Ptolemy M7 to return Cloudcastle to the Extra Deck.
21) Then return Constellar Ptolemy to the Extra Deck by the effect of Dewloren.
Now you can perform the loop with a single Cloudcastle in your Extra!
By the way, this loop takes about 6 hours to perform.
But just a few hours to banish every card the opponent has still does not cut it. We need more satisfaction. This is when we began looking further at the loop and, while the following loop is only viable in the OCG, it’s by far even more satisfying. It does require a few more cards.
Since this loop is longer, just remember this key part: What these three loops accomplish is that, by the start of loop 3, you end up with a free Infernity Mirage. We are going to use that a lot. In fact, 3 Mirage.
Go back to loop 3.
1) Use Mirage to Summon two copies of Infernity Archfiend and use them to Xyz Summon Lavalval Chain. Send Phantom of Chaos from the Deck to the Graveyard.
2) Return to loop 3, and use Lavalval Chain to send a Psi-Blocker to the Graveyard. Oh yes, you know where this is going.
3) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send a second copy of Infernity Mirage to the Graveyard.
4) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send a third copy of Infernity Mirage to the Graveyard.
5) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send Infernity Archer to the Graveyard.
6) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send another copy of Infernity Archer to the Graveyard.
7) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send Infernity Knight to the Graveyard.
8) Return to loop 3, use Lavalval Chain to send another copy of Infernity Knight to the Graveyard.
9) Once you finish the last iteration of loop 3, we start doing things differently. At the beginning of loop 1, instead of banishing Infernity Mirage directly for the effect of Hundred-Eyes Dragon, first banish Phantom of Chaos instead. Then use the gained effect of Phantom of Chaos to banish Infernity Mirage A and gain its effect.
10) Proceed until step E of loop 2. Instead of Special Summoning the banished Infernity Mirage A, Special Summon Phantom of Chaos instead.
11) Activate the effect of Phantom of Chaos, gaining the effect of Psi-Blocker. Declare any card. Just any card you like, this is better than a magic trick.
12) Activate the effect of Hundred-Eyes Dragon banishing Infernity Mirage B. Use the gained effect to Special Summon two copies of Infernity Necromancer.
13) Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon using those two Infernity Necromancers.
14) Activate its effect, Special Summoning Infernity Mirage A.
15) Activate the effect of Infernity Mirage A, Special Summoning Infernity Avenger and Infernity Archfiend.
16) Make the usual Emeral using Infernity Archfiend and Phantom of Chaos, Summon Deep Sea Shark, Synchro for Dewloren, return everything, as usual.
17) Return to loop 3 as usual. You now control Hundred-Eyes Dragon, Infernity Mirage A, and Symbol of Heritage.
18) Activate the effect of Hundred-Eyes Dragon banishing Infernity Mirage C. Activate its gained effect to Special Summon two copies of Infernity Necromancer.
19) Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon A using both Necromancers.
20) Activate the effect of Infernity Mirage A.
21) Special Summon two copies of Infernity Knight from the Graveyard.
22) Xyz Summon Leviair the Sea Dragon B using both Knights.
23) Activate the effect of Leviair A, Special Summon the banished Infernity Mirage C.
24) Activate the effect of Leviair B, Special Summon the banished Infernity Mirage B.
25) Activate the effect of Infernity Mirage B, Special Summon two copies of Infernity Archfiend. Xyz Summon Daigusto Emeral.

30) Activate Symbol of Heritage, Special Summon Hundred-Eyes Dragon.
31) Activate the effect of Dewloren, returning Future King Hope, Symbol of Heritage, and Dewloren to the hand.
You are now back at the start of loop 2. Now all your copies of Infernity Mirage and Phantom of Chaos are back in the Graveyard, but so are your Leviairs.
32) Similar to the loop above, make Constellar Ptolemy M7, return Leviair A to the Extra Deck.
33) Loop again, and make another Constellar Ptolemy M7, returning Leviair B to the Extra Deck.
34) Start looping again. When you reach step 10, Special Summon the banished Psi-Blocker and declare a different card. Psi-Blocker is also a Level 4 monster, just like Phantom of Chaos. Does this sound familiar?
35) Repeat all the following steps, Xyz Summoning Daigusto Emeral with Psi-Blocker and Infernity Archfiend on step 16.
36) By the time you reach step 33, you will have returned to square one, and you can declare two more cards by repeating all these steps.
And this way, you can declare EVERY-SINGLE-CARD IN THE GAME. What is randomly guessing with Prohibition? What is Mind Crush? JUST BAN EVERYTHING.
As a friendly note, someone made the math for this, and it will only take you one-hundred-and-forty-days to finish this loop. I now leave you with a more detailed and chunkier step by step explanation of the loop and a list of the required cards for it.
