We call this a lose-lose situation.

Definitely has potential. I won’t judge the chance for play, I’m not meta inclined. But it’s definitely got itself a chance to be a powerful play
Quickplay evenly? Not too shabby
chance is almost the key word there. It entirely relies on your timing activating it, and your opponent’s decision.
0: yes, it clears all their monsters, but it costs you half your LP, and if you do it too early, they could just summon more. How beneficial it is entirely depends on if you have cards that can take advantage of your opponent’s wiped field and your opponent not having cards that can take advantage of your halve’d LP
1: again, a cost vs benefit balancing match. Probably only useful if you can get an Anti-Cure setup to manipulate your opponent so they don’t choose this one
2: this one seems better for the player if played at the start of the opponent’s turn, because then they can’t make any plays other than what’s already on the field. However in turn seems useless outside of blocking hand traps or summon from hand cards if done on your own turn
3+: Your opponent gets to keep all their monsters, but can’t use activated monster effects. seems to rely greatly on what cards your opponent is using to get anything out of it.
to me, this card just seems like it either does very little, benefits your opponent too much, or on the off chance the stars and planets align you could end up with a gamebreaker play that would net you a W.
Piss off
THAT’S OOMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
In the Best case is an evenly matched for monsters only zzz
sadly i don’t see this being good against snake eye but it has potential in other formats
good card for runick, sky striker, witchcrafter maybe, endymion maybe
Very interesting. Being a Quick-Play certainly makes it better than it would otherwise be, as it has applications going first or second in a deck like Dinomorphia (which doesn’t put up many monsters).
Vespers also refers to the night prayer liturgy of the Catholic Church. But there’s not a ton of existing Christian symbolism in the World Legacy storyline so it’s not a very strong connection.
Vesper can also mean evening star when used as a name which refers to Xyz Ding
The problem I see is that it only affects monsters, sends them to the GY, and has upside for the opponent at 0-1 remaining, which is a pretty light punishment compared to evenly saying “banish everything face-down because I say so”. It might be hinting that evenly may not have much time left though if they’re printing a watered down version of it.
Opponent gets to choose if they want a weaker evenly or a weaker dark ruler? it seems really bad
Oh wow, look at this. Komoney has started developing a card that can punish Maxx “C”. Definitely worth playing in OCG
Doesn’t seem good since it can probably simply be negated. Probably only good in a world legacy deck where it might be searched. Don’t even know if any of them would want to play this
How you search this non-world legacy card dumb-dumb ?
New season of World Legacy?
Giving your opponent the option to do whatever they want with their field and having a specific activation window makes it meh.
Should have been spell speed 4 for an effect that bad.
Dinomorphia staple?..maybe
