I think Prisma is gonna be quite useful in Rush Duel, due to having a lot of Fusion monsters in the game requires the specific materials in order to Fusion Summon it.
1-Sad no one is darkness XDDDDDD
2-“dark” roadstar is very good, lvl 4 for revive by strike, and revive fear, who is good to see supports for evil srm
3-The fusion be the reversal version is nice, no is a sevens road with a sword, is roadstar with magic, his effect can reduce 4×12=4800, BUT lvl 11 dont exist so 4400, and the pierce for second option is good, and happy for be magical knight and have the double type gimmick, 2 effs
4-PRISMA IS SO FREAKING GOOD, so this, new staple for fusion decks
5-Now waiting for yudias prisma’3′
I honestly thought we wouldn’t get this guy because of his statline, generic usage, and the search/mill condition of his effect.
them deciding “nah we can just cut conditional effects we can’t use” has been a real shakeup for imports that i am all for.
I thought that was already made clear with Rush’s Harpies: several of those cards received Effect changes or had their original Effects removed to make them easier to import into Rush Duels.
Yes, but they always had their effects wrap around into doing the same thing. A great example being car trooper which tied its sack +1 effect as an optional part of the mill.
so i was convinced stuff like this wouldn’t be possible since it would be hard to replicate in rush. but thinking on it, Wight King actually was the first one to do this idea of just excluding effect text from the import iirc
Yuhi’s gonna use contact
Ah thanks for spoiling the twist for this week’s upcoming duel, Konami. Appreciate it.
All things considered I love the theme going on here. We saw signs that Yuga would end up using corrupted versions of the Sevens Road monsters in the eighth arc, and now “Otes” embraces the path to the dark side and uses a hybrid between Yuga and Otes’s playstyles. Sevens Fear Magician even has green flames which is in between orange and indigo.
Effect wise Roadstar is amazing. It can mill the Deck to set up either Fusion’s multi choice and treat its name as the original while optionally summoning Fear from the GY. It is also treated as a DARK Spellcaster in the GY for Master of Sevens Road, Zerorogue, and Magician of Dark Sevens. It is even a Level 4 making it compatible with Fource Seeker.
Gradymagia emphasizes the hybrid playstyle with tne first multi choice effect being like Sevens Paladin but plays more into Sevens Fear/Magician of Dark Sevens. However unlike all anime Magical Knights, this monster reduces an opponent’s ATK not raise its own hinting at something being off. The second effect is akin to Yuga in GO RUSH, who has a more straightforward deck compared to the mishmash he used in late SEVENS abandoning probability for practicality.
Prisma is unsurprisingly a Legend and for good reason. While you can’t send the monster from Deck to GY due to Rush rules, it is also a non-Tribute that solves many issues for Fusion Decks that have clunky high-Level materials usually unsupported and having different types. It especially finds favor in Decks with a common material and only the high Tribute differs. I can see this being experimented with but Raiza I feel is too valuable even in those Decks. This does open the floodgates to weaker versions for each theme (Stellarizer?)
Based on set numbers it appears we may get two cards (Elemental HERO only?) at the end of each core set from now on that expands on a legacy theme’s playstyle. Or it may just be self contained to Elemental HERO in which case more Fusions slowly being dropped into the format.
Plot twist: Roadstar Gladimagia is actually a secondary Ace Monster. The real Boss Monster will only be seen later or has not been revealed (I say this because Roadstar Gladimagia gives off the vibe of being like Sevens Paladin: that Boss Monster that will be replaced by a better one later on)
Other than that, these Sevens Road cards seem to get more mileage in a Darkness Deck due to being DARK Spellcasters, but they can be used in Sevens Wonder Fusion-focused Builds.
Well, I wonder if they will continue to release Fusion Monsters in the last Slots at the end of the Elemental HERO Pack or will they vary (although it would be funny if it becomes a tradition for Elemental HERO/Neos to get a Fusion Monster per Main Pack)
PS: Seeing that Yuga’s Reprints are somewhat related to these cards, we now have to wait for when we will get more Praime cards due to the Reprints that there were for this Deck.
you do relise we see both sevens road magician and multiple sevens road monsters in the preview XD. plus it was obvious he could contact fuse… so not really spoilers more than the effect and the material
Prisma will be un my red-eyes deck!
I really hope that we get a Red-Eyes retrain other than Moon Dragon now. It’ll feel weird not having a proper boss Red-Eyes in a Red-Eyes deck lol
The Triple Build Pack set to release in January advertised that the new Red-Eyes Maximum will boost the Fusion strategy a lot so I imagine the central piece being counted as the OG in the hand or on the field.
Sevens Road Magician coming back to his old ways by using his slav… I mean allies to empower himself and get Fusion Monsters (or vice versa, empower that weak ally to become stronger)
Either way, Sevens Wonder Fusion is still STONKS with every Fusion Monster you have or mention Sevens Road Magician as Material.
Having Prisma here is interesting, but it will be a great help in those Decks that have problems with Fusion Summon (I’m looking at you, Shadow Flower)
Huh.
Can you reveal Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman and have Elemental Hero Prisma take on the name of Elemental Hero Flame Wingman?
That’s probably part of why it’s a Legend
Yes, it’s one of its intended purposes
Yes.
Interesteing they don’t say that the other monster has to have its original name like in tcg/ocg cards do.
Funny that it has the originals as material despite clearly being a fusion of the dark version.
