Fans of the Japanese versions of GX and Dragon Ball are probably most well acquainted with her.
According to Anime News Network, Hiromi Tsuru, a renowned Japanese voice actress in the anime business since 1968 passed away at the age of 57. According to doctors, she suffered an aortic dissection while driving her car on the Shuto Expressway’s Inner Circular Route in the Chuo ward of Tokyo, and was announced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Most people might associate her with Bulma Briefs from Dragon Ball and its many sequels, but for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, they’ll recognize Hiromi Tsuru as also having voiced the female (and primary) voice of GX antagonist turned ally, Yubel.
Her family has stated they plan to hold a private funeral.
