these might sound bad but they are really good in terms of pushing them away from otks and other archetypes
But here’s the thing wouldn’t you not play these to just play the OTK ones. The link makes no sense in the archetype doesn’t something lock you into light fiends at some point so the fact that it requires a non light fiend is so backwards
I read the link quickly before and thought it said Non light Fiend ignore me

At first, I was like thinking fiendsmith didn’t need more support that opens up extra deck space, since you don’t need necroquip anymore to send engraver to gy with lacrima, but then I realized this makes sense if they are looking to eventually ban requiem like knightmare mermaid.

Whats the point of these cards? They don’t help fiendsmith be it’s own deck in any way??? Sure lacrima helps by being another one card combo but it’s not like that was an issue, just the deck by itself doesn’t end on anything, desirae and maybe the trap?

Link 3 is entirely meant to facilitate plays with desirae, whether you make it with blue dog to get rid of multiple cards first or just lacrima into it into desirae

I get these help smith be its own deck and not just a splashable engine, but as it stands you gotta eventually hit the engine part of the deck so these are just gonna wind up being superfluous.
