I hope to see S-Force lore expansion.
Fellow S-force enjoyer spotted and acknowledged
Glad it’s confirmed we’re getting a non-reprint OCG product in March again. 2024 was kinda wonky, due to the focus of the anniversary and those two big reprint products taking up both February (which is normal) and March (which is not).
vice president is that you?
Alright… What kind of Mecha/Dragon/Waifu Deck will we be getting this time?
Always these three, hope it doesn’t happen this time :/
If wild survivors can resist the urge, surely justice hunters can
@Earthbound tbf, Vanquish Soul has all 3 of those things
whatever it is, it says that you can build multiple themes with just the cards in the set. In my head that means that the three premier archetypes (?) in the set work well together. Could it be something like three separate factions in the same worldlore?
I hope we get a werewolf archetype
Time to turn Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician into Waifus…..
yukicrew it means you can build 3 decks with just the set
IE archetype 1, archetype 2, and archetype 3.
Thats the same text on all deck build packs
Ooh, could it be Destiny Heroes
They are new archetypes so no 🙁
I think Vision Heros need sum new stuff honestly
As expected from the TCG side, the quarter century promotion is truly ending soon and we will finally move back to our standard release schedule including 2 Structure Decks and 2 DBPs per year now.
We should get the Dragonmaid reveal soon if not tomorrow, and then the second month reveals for ALIN.
Agh no more deckbuilding packs please
Are you new?
Too bad these sets only contain original archtypes now because this pack’s name screams Ally of Justice to me.
Oh course the first 2 packs did give us new Six Samurai and Vampire support. So there’s is chance but I wouldn’t count on it.
I would love a new Vampire structure deck. With either a new form of Vampire Genesis that’s actually good, or a Vampire form of Red-Eyes Black Dragon that’s a Vampire.
Great. More of Konami bloating the game with more archetypes than they are willing to commit to. Only for Konami to forget their existence in under two years.
Do we really need SEVENTEEN new themes every year?
Agreed. They should focus more on making old themes PLAYABLE
Originally these packs did give more new support to old archtypes but after awhile Konami probably realize they could make more money from creating 3 new archtypes instead of just 1 or 2.
@Joshua Seed It would need a great design if Konami can make archetypes in these deck-build sets PURELY competitive, but nope. They want us to get into dem engines, floodgate techs, & generic boss monsters that has been running rampant in the game since forever.
We are Hunters….for JUSTICE!!!
I wonder if it will be just 1 DBP next year or was that just this year? Oh well, I look forward to the reveals
It was just this year. Same with the Structure Deck.
We had two massive reprint sets this year that took their slots. It is implied that Atlantean was going to be the SDR this year but it was ultimately cancelled and its cards were put into ROTA and SUDA.
What would it take for a Deck Build pack for preexisting archetypes?
Also, am I the only one who thinks that a couple of Structure Decks could be used to advertise a new archetype? I’m pretty sure Fire Kings debuted that way.
Well, deck build pack are somewhat if you are lucky enough you will have enough cards to play the deck immediately after open a box.
@Rando The problem with that logic is OCG design these sets with only 1 archetype playable while the other 2 gets waves of support in core sets after the initial debut of a few cards that help the themes the most each. It’s ridiculous but they knew that handtraps and/or generic disruptions/ interruptions, generic staples, as well as tech and/or engine cards make up most of the Deck with core archetype cards, but that doesn’t meaning they should design archetypes with that design in mind. I rather have archetypes purely be competitive, but apparently they want out of greed & need for their business players to spend-spend-spend these new cards-cards-cards in new sets-sets-sets.
Would be cool if this set expanded upon the Fur Hire monsters somehow.
Jurastice Hanta!
that sounds somehow like Sentai to me.
i wonder if the Justice will be for waifu, machine, or dragons.
doubt it’ll be Sentai Dragon.
so Sentai Waifus? I’m in.
or Police Mech?
so Patlabor? I’m in.
HEY COPE HERE i hope its malefic because technically paradox just wanted to save his time line an wasn’t that evil yeah am copeing
Given it is a Deck Build Pack…That’s a little bit more than cope
more than cope, so there’s hope?
Another DBP so soon? Man, we had a year between the Vaalmonica, Memento, Centurion pack and Ryzeal, Ryu-ge and Maliss.
How new are you? The only reason we didnt have 2 last year was because of the celebrations for 25th anniversary. We’ve consistently had 2 DBP packs per year for years now
For the record, Deck Build Packs are usually released twice a year – one in February or March, and the other in August or September. (Albeit now Konami has largely settled on March and August the past few times,)
We had 2 reprint sets this year that took the release from the first DBP we would have gotten.
And it has been over 3 months since CRBR was released in the OCG, with products usually being announced 2-3 months in advance and the first reveals done 1-2 months prior to release.
DBPs in particular are announced 3 months before release due to their unique marketing schedule with V JUMP.
We’ll get the archetype boss artwork reveals in January, the first archetype in February, and the last two in March.
I hope there is a new archetype insect xyz or ritual so I can combine it in my insect deck and you can use all types of summoning.
