A weaker Galaxy Dragon but a bit easier to summon with an occasionally useful ATK gain during the late game
wrong deck xD. elysium is zwijos ace. its not even technicly part of the dark matter deck its just part of the archtype… its like putting… the old effect damage on healing monster in… forgot the archtypes namw 😅

Do you guys ever consider having a separate place to reveal rush duel cards? I have twitter notifications on for TCG/OCG card updates and a ton of them are just these announcements for a game that hasn’t even debuted outside of Japan. Honestly just curious. Love the work regardless

Honestly? A pretty solid Boss Monster and I’d say having a Continuous Effect makes it a bit better than both Dark Matter Requiem (Omega) since you could only activate the Effect when you Special Summon the Monster.
The only bad thing about Dark Matter Elysium is that it doesn’t have Pierce, unlike Dark Matter Requiem, which does have Pierce. However, at least you can attack without fear with a lot of ATK thanks to Dark Matter Elysium (Dark Matter Requiem Omega will be a Level 9, but it’s harder to bring onto the Field and prevents you from attacking directly)
At least Voidverg Elysium is now an option to consider in your Voidverg Deck, but I doubt you’ll be replacing Voidverg Requiem as your trump card.
By the way, there are still a handful of Fusion Monsters we don’t know about yet from the Pack: JP038, JP040-JP042, and JP046.
JP038 screams that it will be the spot for Super Graphagas Plasma Saber. However, I’m curious about the Main Monsters from JP005-JP010 since they seem to be cards related to GO RUSH’s Cast.
Wow this is actually BETTER than the anime version, as far as I remember the anime version didn’t have the additional 2500 ATK boost, correct me if I’m wrong

Hey uh. So when exactly did Voidvelgr get its name changed to Voidverg? Was the name confirmed in Duel Links or something?
it was confirmed to be the canon Romanization via Zuwijo merchandise. They’re both valid translations, but I’m pretty sure no Voidverg monster directly references Hræsvelgr, just, (according to Yugipedia) Greek and Norse soldiers, mythology, and religion, as well as references to death/purgatory/afterlife, etc.
We went with Velgr because a lot of its early summon chants and its Starter Deck was “The Wings of the Hollow Sky” IIRC.
There’s nothing making them Dwarves either, I’ll point out.

I think it’s less about dwarves the creatures and more about dwarves as in black/white dwarves in space, but *shrug*, they chose what they chose, I’ll agree that Voidvelgr is the cooler name

To differentiate both formats, Rush has exclusive Types and Maximum Summons while losing out on everything else barring Tribute, Special, and Fusion Summon.
You can have both cakes without trying to scrape the toppings from one onto the other. Try out Rush Duels sometime in Edopro
