I mean yes, Omega in GY is not a Quick Effect, but it does still pair nicely with it on account of how Omega is something you won’t mind tossing out if you aren’t already using this to, say, activate Herald or set up Wind Pegasus @Ignister or the like, since he can toss itself back into the Extra Deck to make this live again on a future turn.

no, it seems to be a World Legacy card, of all things. It has Orcust elements and Knightmare elements

Visually Its Chasma (body shape) fused with Orcustrion (the pipes) and Albion the Shrouded Dragon (head shape and hair) and enlarged to roughly 3/4 the size of Lord of the Missing Barrows.
Now I don’t care what others say, I’m adding this to my Kewl Tune deck. I just have to figure out which synchro to use for its sent to GY effect

This card feels like the fusion of both of the final 5ds archetypes, so a combination of the timelords and meklords
This is one of those cards which you would expect to be the main card of one of those single card name related archetypes, like spyral super agent

Obvious Herald of the Arc Light mention is obvious. But also, Golden Cloud Beast – Malong is another target which bounces an opponent’s face-up card. Deep Sea Prima Donna shuffles a banished card into the Deck. A few others but they’re more archetype focused. Herald and Malong are the big ones here.
So there’s like, no way Herald isn’t getting banned afer this, right?

The TCG tends to make those kinds of moves; the OCG has only done something similar so far with the inclusion of Maxx “C” and Ash in the anniversary boxes, as far as I remember, but in general those products brought a lot of cards that were recurring in the meta, and it took a couple of months for the first warning hit to arrive

there are a ton of cards which search ritual monsters, so its not really any issue
Yes, there are plenty of cards that search Ritual monsters/spell cards, but this makes it ever easier for Mitsurugi to play around their opponent trying to stop them from doing Mitsurugi things. They do not even need to fire off their own cards like Habakiri. This just makes Mitsurugi Yummy even more resilient with Herald of Arc Light now serving an even easier role of deck searching when before it had to be summoned (mostly) before getting its search off.
I’m not sure about this card. I think it’s very good and basically generic for any strategy that wants to use it, but at the same time, I feel that most decks that could run it already have ways to send resources from the ED to the GY or have a game plan that can give them the same result
I mean, I’m sure they do, but this is a way that’s able to do such off no investment on your part since it fires off in the hand based on your opponent activating a monster effect on the field, and atop that the only setup YOU need to do is ensuring that you put enough Synchros into your Extra Deck to fire off the results you want to (whether or not that includes the non-targeting destruction).
It’s basically Dark Magician, Gale Dogra, and Ghost Ogre stacked atop each other in a trench coat like they’re trying to collectively sneak into a movie; decks might have ways to do what those do already, but this one’s doing it for basically free since the ‘drawback’ balancing it all out is something most folks that’d care to try it are already cool with, so I can see folks happily making room for them in their theaters.
Extra decks are already very tight
I can see this card geting some use in synchro decks, but nobody would waste 3-5 extradeck spaces just to be able to use a non negating handtrap
If you are able to use it, then it would have a lot of versatility though
Yummy Misturugi already run +5 Synchros. Yes, they already have game plans to send cards to the grave, but this gives them even more extension or plays that make it harder for the opponent to counter play them. It’s a “win more” but a “win more” that is at the front of your plays, not the end of your plays when the opponent is dead to rights.
Utterly insane card for any deck that can play it. Crucially, that’s not just Synchro decks, but decks that don’t care about the Extra Deck in general like Regenesis (2500 ATK btw) or Pure Mitsurugi. It’s kind of astonishing we’re getting a hand trap with such a generous activation condition that, at minimum, puts a huge tuner on field, bins a Synchro (AKA triggers Malong), and then non targeting pops a monster that ALL RESOLVES IN HAND.
I was just gonna write the same in the context of Regenesis. I’ve been playing Regenesis Dogmatika for a while now, and this card is literally all I could’ve asked for – a handtrap with 2500 ATK that’s got an extremely common and easily resolved activation condition that can summon itself to make most of your Regenesis monsters live (or be used in hand with Archfiend) and bins Malong or… Luluwalilith! Which then allows you to special Ecclesia from your deck in the end phase, searching for anything you need (Fleurdelis or Fallen & Virtuous for breaking boards or Maximus as a starter/assisting in breaking boards).
Also, it’s searchable off of Magnamhut, which is a great card in regenesis already as well, so if you search it off him in the End Phase it can act as a board breaker. Insane card, as a Regenesis player I couldn’t be happier!

helps some, but being locked out of all your extra deck monster effects for 2 turns aside from Savage sounds rough for the deck.
this can be used in Goon Tune, not sure if there’s an application with Clip but its a free body that does things
There aren’t any lvl 9 Tuner Synchros, but what you can technically do is send Herald to add Magikey Batosbuster (lvl 4 Tuner Ritual), then Synchro it and Clip into Loudness War. Maybe one day, when we get a lvl 3 Tuner Synchro that uses Tuners only, Fidraulis’ send of Herald will be able to add Cyberse Sage instead, who would return herself every time you would use her in the hand for Killer Tune Synchro plays.

So I can special summon a level 7 tuner destroy a monster and (if herald isn’t banned) search for a ritual (mitsurugi combo) this is going to be a 3 of way to broken.

it’s great in a synchro deck, it’s practically a Ghost Ogre on steroids, when your opp activates a monster eff, you summon it, destroy sth without targeting and send any synchro to extra to activate it’s effect. Could be Herald of Arc Light to search or Golden Cloud Beast – Malong to bounce an opponent monster…

Weird card. It wants you to play at least 5 Synchros in Extra Deck but actively works against playing anything from Extra Deck.

If only the card was worded to where the applied effects aren’t mandatory when fulfilling the cost to use the 2nd and/or 3rd effect as well as the 1st. Being able to keep the card to reveal again once every following turn to pop an opponent’s monster when the opponent tries to play or stop you from playing the game may be unbalanced/broken or unfair but would be very unique card design for a handtrap that we haven’t seen yet.
WHile I’d love that to be the case, it’d end up pushing this card over the edge where it’d need to get banned. But I do agree that a card that can repeatedly reveal itself for minor disruptions and either special itself or stay in hand is a neat idea!
Okay so this is busted, right? Works in any Synchro deck or a deck that doesn’t care about its Extra Deck? Free body, plus off Extra Deck send, AND non-targeting pop a monster? Am I missing something?
Maybe stop profiting from putting the extra deck directly into the trash bin?
