3 extra copies of Buster Welp to normal summon and get the full Buster lock. Makes the engine waaaaay better since now you can actually run a 2 to 1 garnet ratio.

You can send 2 whatever machines you want from deck to gy with cyber dragon. Be it newly revealer blue traveler, any infinittacks, machinas. It is a 1 card starter for machine piles that gets you huge monster at the cost of running cyber dragon

We’ve had a starter though, that Schwarzchild retrain

      • Kronk on January 13, 2026 7:51 pm

Anybody who tries to downplay it is straight up incorrect. It’s one of the craziest pieces of support an archetype has seen; searching ANY monster of your archetype while foolish burial’ing another? Without using the normal summon? AND it can help extend after that? Like Schwarzchild is nice and all (and Photon Delta Wing sucks ass compared to this) but this card is nuts.

But we also did get an Odd-Eyes structure deck after the Synchron deck in 2015 which I would much pefer because Pendulum needs as much as it can get at this point. Plus the TCG Banlist severely crippled my Pendulum Magician deck.

      • Joseph on January 13, 2026 7:16 am

Most likely something relating to reaving opponent monster’s attack points as per it’s original effect.

Given the lack of Phantom Knight support in the last 5+years though, I’m really hoping the retrain will also interact with the PK archetype in a meaningful way (e.g. recovering banished PK traps/monsters etc).

Also wish other rivals got support like Kaito and Galaxys got Neo last wave maybe Shark can get some support too cause Yuma got a Overframe himself since Shark is technically a “rival” too.

        @Bwebzz

There isn’t a single set in this game’s history that doesn’t have token waifu cards for the predominately male playerbase.

It’s no coincidence that like 40 LOCH cards have been revealed, and not a single one is female.

They are saving them all for the final wave of reveals, and it’s so lame and predictable.

Until then, all we’re getting is dragon, mecha and twink magician slop

Everyone saying this is a Rocket circular, but it’s way more broken than circular.

It mills REDMD for free (or anything you need), and then, for free, summons up to 4 more bodies.
Clear wing is a free nuke in the opp turn, orbital is a good starter, but this…
      This is a problem.

      • Leo on January 13, 2026 8:57 am

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The good thing about this is that it opens itself up to get stopped by almost every common handtrap. Ash and Belle are a given, but even Ghost Ogre or Fidraulis stop it since it needs to destroy itself before it can summon anything, and if something else destroys it first, the summoning effect won’t go through.

I like these types of interaction, where powerful effects can be stopped by removal rather than absolutely HAVING to negate them (I genuinely liked that part in older cards that say “this card needs to be face-up on the field at resolution to resolve this effect”; it’s a bummer that they aren’t doing that any more since it opens up ways of interrupting the opponent that don’t just say “negate” but I guess what they’re doing with cards like the Rokket Cirular is the next best thing).

    18. Colby on January 12, 2026 11:46 pm

That new blue-eyes card I’d phenomenal… it is a free maiden of white, Sage, kaibaman…

Also summons itself if bewd or a blue-eyes chaos ritual is dumped? Gives you a free body
Only bad thing is it’s level not being 8, meaning it can’t combo with the Tuner to summon spirit but this is basically a illusion of chaos for blue-eyes tuners

OH! Tis lovely to see more Blue-Eyes Big-Hips Dragon in my life! ~<3

But her effects does seem a bit on the mid side of things to me… Was Blue-Eyes decks REALLY hungry for yet another tuner searcher? And it losing the burn + destruction bonus effects of the original Deep-Eyes feels like a pointless desire to keep that one not fully replaced. Ohwell! it is still good enough to see some inclusion in upcoming modern Blue-Eyes decks. Now then… I hope this is a sign that we will get a new Chaos MAX card to go along with this! That would be totally hype!

Edit: I reread it, and the self summoning effect is better then what I first saw, I thought it only summoned itself when the written Blue-Eyes cards were “destroyed, and sent to the grave” but no, it is just whenever they are “sent to the grave.” Pretty sweat!

    22. Playmaker on January 13, 2026 12:26 am

At this rate Z-arc is going to get a overframe retrain, and I’m genuinely horrified at the idea of that.

Synchro universe: lore resons, arc Ray: mediocre, base: its a nuke that has uses, but a overframe retrain might be genuinely scary especially if they make it more like it’s anime incarnet where it skill drained all fusion, synchro, and xyz monsters, and imagine if it had the effect that you choose the attack targets and forces monsters to attack regardless of whether or not you want to or not.

But who knows right, after all this is just me rambling about something that has like a 1 in 1000 chance of happening, so who knows what will come out.

      Reply
      • Mr. Bulbmin on January 13, 2026 2:10 am

Anime ZARC didn’t Skill Drain Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Pendulum monsters, though. It couldn’t leave the field by the effects of or battle with those monsters, as long as the appropriate Heavenly Dragon was banished.

    23. Cybersoldier on January 13, 2026 12:33 am

Wow, they seriously chose to make a broken starter for Orcust/potentially any Machine deck over finding a compromise for Cyberdark. They should have simply locked it to Machine or Dragon “Cyber”s. At least this gives me hope for more dedicated Cyberdark support, someday.

If I had to rank those cards from Best to Worst it would be:

      1. Rokket Barrage
      2. Deep-Eyes White Dragon the Blue Abyss and Galaxy Defense Robot Orbital 7
      4. Future Fusion Nova
      5. Clear Wing Synchro Dragon of the Four Heavenly Dragons
      6. Red Dragon Archfiend Chains.

And none of them are bad cards, though. Rokket Barrage is ending on the banlist for absolute certain. Too generic for its own good.

New orbital 7 is disappointing, especially bc of the light restrictions that come with its effect. Figured it’d at least be able to special Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon or Afterglow Dragon, but nope. Ffs give us a GEPD retrain that’s easy to summon, with a non-restrictive effect, that is considered GEPD when it’s on field, in grave, or attached as XYZ material. Or just give us a way to special summon the damn dragon from anywhere. Currently the deck just makes a big beefy boy that has since been outclassed and power crept
