people really overlook sinful spoils huh, with diabellstar you already have a general negater with rciela. and dont forget about the whole snake eyes combo. i think its okay to release not so good considering what already released.
They’re not bad, just playable level. Diabelle is very generic after all.
Dang the first comment from Mr. Know-It-All that I don’t like. I agree with Koste 321 that slowing down the game is also important. But of course, most meta slaves wouldn’t have agreed.
IMO the Sinful Spoils storyline will never be iconic as the Albaz story. All this archtype has going for it rn is Snake-Eyes.

Albaz was iconic because despite being the main character he wasn’t the only character. Visas and Sinful Spoils were ruined because the main character is the only character, with everybody else only existing to contrast with them.
World Legacy also at least had 4 main characters that each had a major role in the story.
Abyss/Albaz is many things but “iconic” when most of the different archetype’s link to Albaz lore are “they exist”? Yeah nah. Samsara has it’s own problems and Duel Terminal is Duel Terminal but for the most part the Sinful Spoils story has been better than all of them.
Albaz literally got there own structure deck and is getting a collection files later this year. Albaz at this point is probably one of the most popular storyline in Yugioh rn.

if we talking about iconic of course albaz won, with so many distinc archtype thrown together in one story, like the ending is straight up a shonen story ending.
what i like in diabellstar lore in particular is how focused the story on the diabellstar herself, of course we dont know how big the lore itself going to be, but from what we have seen only goblin biker that does not have a personal connection with diabellstar and with goblin biker new card, its seems like diabellstar got prisoned with goblin biker at some point.
Albaz storyline is very mid. Half of it is like side quest that doesnt really contributes to the main story and half of its main characters are just being pushed around by Aluber with no motivation of their own other than “beat the bad guy”, and he’s just mysterious mc evil counterpart. It’s like the most basic early 2000s shonen manga story.
World Legacy is much better in all aspects. Each main character has their own goals and motivations which move the story forward more naturally.
Visas has really cool premise but it feels like just a prologue of a roguelike game.
Gameplay wise Albaz is also such a boring archtype. Most of its story archtypes got abandoned half way and most of the supports are for branded fusion.

Albaz Story gave us Despia, Sprights, Dogmatica, Swordsouls, Therions, Bystials, Branded and all the misc. Albaz-related stuff. Icejade, Spriggans and Tri-Brigade were not that relevant from meta perspective but they were quite memorable and had their little followings.
Saying that themes introduced in Albaz lore were “just there” is kinda weird… Like yeah, they were just there and basically were running both meta and Yu-gi-oh! brand as a whole for 2+ years.
Okay, so I think Diabellstar has Silvera and Rcia’s souls and Diabellze has their bodies.

Seen this card at Master Duel Meta, it looks like another runickesque archetype, albeit there will more monsters used in the main deck. Since Runicks rarely run too many monsters on the main deck, (hate stun decks, very boring style for me), in fact no less than 3 [monsters] in the main deck, most runick builds run only Amano-Iwato. The rest are spells and traps.
Their fusions looks decent-ish, especially they need fiends and certain lvl monsters, 5, 6 and 8 or higher… If I care enough to read each cards like I do normally… They probadly at least a rogue as it stands. Not going to be a meta, which is fine for me.
Over 90% of cards in YGO are not meta, so why should I expect it to be meta? Jokes on those who expects this deck to be a meta one.
They don’t even need monsters to be fusion summoned. lol
