Offer new fodder for Tribute towards this Zombie Ritual theme!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to another profile, this time featuring the Vendread archetype for the first time as a standalone video. The Vendread theme exists to Ritual Summon, as most of the Main Deck Vendread Monsters grant effects to a Ritual Summoned monster that tributed them on the field for its summon. Vendread Houndhorde can discard a Vendread card to summon itself back from the GY, and when used for a Rtiual Summon, it gives that Ritual Monster a Quick Effect to banish an opponent’s Spell/Trap card. Vendread Revenants grants a similar Quick Effect, this time to banish a Special Summoned monster, and Vendread Striges gives them the ability to draw 1 card then discard 1 card when they battle an opponent’s monster. With all these cool effects came the power of Zombie type support, with Uni-Zombie and Mezuki, and even the ability to tap into Zombie World support cards such as Glow-Up Bloom and Doomking Balerdroch. But the new support breathed brand new life into this archetype with three new cards.
First up, Scar Vendread (YGOrg Translation) became the theme’s first Level 6 non-Ritual Monster, searching any Vendread Spell/Trap when sent to the GY. This lets you tutor a Ritual Spell, such as Revendread Origin or Revendread Evolution to the theme’s removal Trap, Vendread Reorigin. Or, you can turn to the archetype’s new Ritual Spell, Ravenous Vendread (YGOrg Translation), which supports a Vendread monster from the hand, deck or GY before Ritual Summoning with it. This is a surefire way to give a Ritual Monster an additional effect or two, plus both it and Origin list a Vendread Ritual monster in their text, unlocking the use of Pre-Preparation of Rites. One more thing – all of these Ritual Spells can Ritual Summon a monster from the GY. Combine that with all the recursion offered to Zombies and a new boss in the form of Vendread Scarvenger (YGOrg Translation), and this archetype has everything it needs to be the Avendread Savior to rule them all. Rise in retribution with the Vendread.
