Strategic Summary:

In today’s CDP, the Simorgh archetype, consisting of WIND and DARK Winged Beasts, combines with the powerful link-oriented Tribrigade monsters to take control of the duel faster than ever before. With virtually guaranteed access to a Simorgh, Bird of Sovereignty on the first turn, the only question becomes how you best support that investment to your field. Combine it with Dark Simorgh and Anti-Spell Fragrance? Or, you can simply choose to glide through the duel, turning to Tribrigade Revolt (YGOrg Translation) to recover your banished Simorgh monsters to allow for more return trips back to your field. Soar with the winds and fly to Elborz, riding the air currents with this strategy that, with the new Tribrigade support, is finally fast up enough to compete!

Note: As many of these cards were recently revealed, most of the names used below are YGOrg translations of the OCG text. As these cards are also yet to be released even in the OCG or backed by official rulings, card interactions as they currently stand cannot be fully guaranteed. As always, I’ve provided links to the Yugipedia pages for all of the non-TCG cards in the decklist. Feel free to use those links to fully explore the Tribrigade theme!

Note: This is continuing the style of Creative Deck Profile articles, designed to showcase a build through replays rather than through a long article. If you wish to see a CDP for an archetype, theme, or strategy you love, feel free to private message me on the YGOrg Discord server, the comments section of any of my YouTube videos, or just post a comment in response to this article on our Facebook page with your ideas to keep under consideration! On most YGO-related communities my username is Quincymccoy, so feel free to reach out.

As of now, I have a couple of outstanding requests that I am looking into: Amazonness, Cardian, Witchcrafter, Superheavy Samurai, Bujin, & The Agent.

Hello everybody! I serve as Number VIII of the Organization; however, my main role is writing Deck Strategy articles and generating non-news content for the site! Gotta love those underused archetypes...
