The Train Machines are back on track!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to the Barrage Blast of Creative Deck Profiles coming your way, this time focused on the Railway (aka Train) theme! This loose theme of Level 10 Machine monsters that resemble various trains aim to Xyz Summon massive Rank 10 (then Rank 11) Xyz Monsters with equally massive names, such as Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max and Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe. To succeed at this task, the theme uses a few natural Rank 10 monsters, such as Super Express Bullet Train and Heavy Freight Train Derricrane, as well as some that can become Level 10, such as Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede. Either way, almost all of the useful trains had one thing in common – Special Summoning. That is, until the latest train showed up at the platform. That’s right, I’m talking about none other than Goldilocks the Battle Landscraper. This Level 10 EARTH Machine is pretty cool, and in my opinion, criminally overlooked since release. You see, it needs to be summoned to your center Main Monster Zone, but once you do, you can move it to any unoccupied Main Monster Zone. When you do, it destroys all cards in the column in which it started, ended, and passed. In other words, if your opponent set all of their cards on the right side of their field, Goldilocks can bulldoze all of them in one fell swoop. When it doubt, mow them all down!
Ok, one second while I regain my composure and turn down the runaway violence. Anyways, the second half of today’s strategy is about empowering these Railway monsters with more consistency and power, and that’s where the other archetypes come in. First up is the Infinitrack archetype, a group of EARTH Machines that aim to Xyz Summon, except this time, Rank 5, 7, or 9 monsters. Infinitrack Anchor Drill is the main monster to hype up today, as it can Special Summon any Earth Machine from your hand and will typically be the best way for you to get Goldilocks to your board! Outside of him, you have Infinitrack Brutal Dozer to facilitate an easy Xyz Summon of Infinitrack River Stormer, and the latest addition to the archetype, Infinitrack Road Roller, which can force all of your opponent’s monsters into Defense Position while it is Xyz Material for a Machine monster. And, if you missed it, Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder is both a Machine and can attach Road Roller from your Deck… Exciting!
Now the final themes in today’s build are also Machines, but they break with the normal patterns across the rest of your deck. First up is the Springans, a FIRE Machine archetype, designed around re-attaching themselves back to Springans Xyz Monsters. Today, I’m really only using Springans Merrymaker from the Extra Deck, but the key card in play from this archetype is Tally-ho! Springans, a Quick-Play Spell that detaches up to 3 materials, tutors a Springans, then lets you Special Summon an equivalent number of Springans monsters that you detached from your hand or GY. If you use Merrymaker to faux-Xyz Summon Gigantic “Champion” Sargas, you can even tutor Tally-ho!, as well as get free monster removal along the way. Or you can tutor Therion “King” Regulus instead, to offer more negation potential. Back to removal, let’s close the route and come full circle back to Barrage Blast, a fun Continuous Trap that can detach any number of Xyz material from Machine Xyz Monsters to destroy an equivalent number of cards. With so many materials at your disposal, it can truly be a blast to railroad your opponent with so much unexpected destruction. As that’s not exactly something that a normal duelist would expect is possible from a Railway deck. Choo Choo, don’t miss out on the Railway express, leaving soon for a duel near you!
