Strike a chord with Yuya’s Pendulum monsters in full swing!
Replays:
Strategic Summary:
The Peformapal monsters constituted the menagerie of Yuya’s deck in ArcV, but today they are just a player joining our performance. Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer is the one at the center of the ring, destroying your cards and converting them into other Performapal monsters whenever it is Special Summoned. Combine this with the draw engine of Performapal Guitartle and Performapal Lizardraw, and you can let this initial summon accumulate into a snowball of advantage. On the other hand, this build also heavily features the Pendulum Magicians, a set of Spellcaster pendulums that benefit from destruction. Wisdom-Eye Magician can set any other Magician to your scale in its place, so long as you have a Performapal or Pendulum magician in the other zone, and Double Iris Magician headlines as a key player searching out your Pendulumgraph support cards.
Where this deck truly begins to shine above the rest is when you factor in the extra deck and the variety of options available to this combination. Fusions, Synchros, Xyzs, and Links are all within grasp, many of which offer unique benefits to pendulum themes. For example, Nirvana High Paladin can treat a Pendulum Summoned monster as a tuner, and when you do for its Synchro Summon, you can add any card from your GY back to hand! On the more aggressive side, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing wipes your opponent’s board, and if anything survives, it can destroy another monster while inflicting heavy damage! On the Fusion front, Performapal Gatlinghoul continues the burn damage with destruction theme, accessible through either Muddy Mudragon or Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver. Lastly, Timestar Magician holds everything else together by searching the DARK Spellcasters you need at any point of the duel, such as Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron. Harmonize your scales to answer the Pendulum Call!
