Dive into the Crystal Waters with this Cyberse archetype.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to another profile, this time centered upon the Link Summoning WATER Marincess archetype. The defining trait of this archetype is its ability to field multiple Link 4 boss monsters on the board, making its monsters completely unaffected by effects, and recovering monsters and support cards like no other theme. So let’s start at the top with the primary boss, Marincess Great Bubble Reef. This Link 4 gains 600 ATK each time a monster is banished, plus it can banish a WATER monster from your GY each Standby Phase to draw a card. During your Main Phase, you can use its final effect, discarding a WATER monster to recover a banished Marincess to your field. This is your primary elbow grease for vanquishing your opponent’s LP, and a great way of gaining even more advantage as time goes on. The other great boss option is Marincess Aqua Argonaut (YGOrg Translation), which can bounce a WATER monster on your field and an opponent’s monster back to the hand, and it can negate an activated Spell/Trap card or effect during the opponent’s turn. But it’s not enough to just talk about the bosses, it’s important to note that this theme has to many ways to extend more monsters onto the field as link material.
On that note, Marincess Blue Slug is one of their Link 1 monsters, which recovers a Marincess from the GY when it is summoned. If you summoned then used Marincess Sea Horse as material, you can then recover that Horse then summon it back to the zone Slug points to. Marincess Sea Angel is their other Link 1 monster, which can search either Marincess Battle Ocean, their Field Spell, or Marincess Dive (YGOrg Translation), a Normal Spell that summons a Marincess from either your GY or Deck, depending on if you have Battle Ocean already. For Link 2, look no further than Marincess Coral Anemone, which can summon any WATER monster from your GY with 1500 or less ATK to a zone it points to. Then for Link 3, Marincess Marbled Rock lets you keep recovering a Marincess card every turn, while Marincess Coral Triangle (YGOrg Translation) tutors any of the theme’s Trap cards. Speaking of traps, the key card (and probably the reason to use this deck in the first place) is Marincess Wave. This trap can be used from the hand while you control a Link 3 or higher Marincess, and it negates the effects of an opponent’s monster while making your Marincess monsters unaffected by card effects for the rest of the turn. Remember this can be cycled every turn with Anemone or Marbled Rock, so once you tutor it the first time, you’re set for the rest of the duel. This description only dips its toe into this vast strategy – be sure to watch the replays to see the full scope of the archetype’s capabilities!
