Embrace the new support cards and free the Ice Barrier dragons from their chains.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome to the new and improved Ice Barrier archetype. While this theme has always had a wide pool of support cards and strategies to choose from, it has always struggled at the most important thing in this game: being good. While I have no grounds to claim that Ice Barrier will be meta, the new support actually rise this theme to the level of playable, especially in a casual enviornment. The new support cards breathe life into the strategy, allowing for Synchro summons and their iconic lockdown boards that can slow down your opponent enough to give you time to amass a powerful Trishula play to wipe the duel completely into your favor! This lockdown is achieved with cards such as Spellbreaker of the Ice Barrier or Secret Guards of the Ice Barrier, both older cards getting a chance to shine once more. On the newer front, General Wayne of the Ice Barrier (YGOrg Translation) is a clear standout support, being able to summon itself from the hand and search your Ice Barrier Spells, which continue to be key for a consistent deck. Beyond your main cadre, your Ice Barrier Synchros plus variety of other WATER options are at your disposal from the extra deck, so break the Ice pick from your coolbox and get to work on the Clear Wall! Explore a frozen tundra with the new Ice Barriers!
