With the vast array of plays available to this archetype unlocked by the flexibility of the Link Summoning mechanic, this build hopes to capitalize on the new support in the upcoming Lightning Overdrive main set. First, let’s talk about the key to this new batch of support, Dark Infant @Ignister (YGOrg Translation). With the help of this Link 1 option, Ignister A.I.Land has never been so easily accessible, and this theme excels through the use of this field spell. With it’s ability to cycle so many monsters onto the field with minimal restrictions, additional access to it only makes this deck more powerful. Also, with yet another field access option, you can now justify running A.I. Contact, trading an extra copy of A.I.Land in hand for 3 extra draws to replenish your resources or continue your combo! In short, the true power of this archetype is its ability to play through disruption and end on extremely powerful Link monsters, such as The Arrival Cyberse @Ignister or Firewall Dragon Darkfluid, both of which will heavily contribute to your success. Note: This article introduces the first of a series of Rogue Deck Profile articles, designed to showcase a more competitive strategy that my normal profiles.
