The Gears of change never stop turning in any Universe.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back to another CDP, this time re-featuring the Ancient Gear archetype, but with a Multi-Universe twist. If you missed my last profile featuring the new-and-improved Ancient Gear monsters, be sure to check it out here: https://youtu.be/w6JEMeA5LbI
Now that we’re through that, let’s talk Multi-Universe. This new Field Spell is unique in that it can destroy itself to re-activate any Field Spell from either GY or banishment. While this obviously works extremely well with the recently Limited Chicken Game, it also happens to work extremely well with Geartown, a card that loves being destroyed as much as possible. You see, each time Geartown is destroyed, you get to Special Summon an Ancient Gear from your Deck or GY. This adds up quick, especially with the new Ancient Gear Dark Golem to tutor additional cards. Where this combination really shines is that you now can abuse all the ways the theme has to destroy Geartown, all in the same turn. You have Ancient Gear Catapult of course, the natural partner, but you can also destroy it with Ancient Gear Ballista, Ancient Gear Tanker, or the new Cosmo Queen, the Queen of Prayers (YGOrg Translation). There’s few decks that can handle that much of a swing in card advantage, and even fewer still that can resist the game-ending strength of a Chaos Ancient Gear Giant. Worse, imagine 2 Giants bearing down on the opponent due to Ancient Gear Fusion and Overload Fusion.
This isn’t the only new tool that Ancient Gear has received since my last profile – you see they’ve also been given 2 new Effect monsters: Ancient Gear Statue (YGOrg Translation) and Ancient Gear Dragon (YGOrg Translation). Statue can be Tributed to Special Summon a Golem or monster that mentions it from your deck, a great starter to apply pressure. On the other hand, Dragon gives the deck the ability to negate the effect of an activated S/T card or effect, giving you that much more protection from your opponent disrupting an OTK push. Throw in Therion “King” Regulus, and your opponent will be left watching their LP drain away in one-two-three-four attacks, all from one chaotic giant. Pulverize any foe, anywhere in the Multi-Universe, with the power of the Ancient Gears!

Still hoping to see a semi-pure Illusion Deck, just to see what you come up with. But I guess you’d have to wait for more Illusion-support magic cards right?
Hi there! I saw your comment in the last video, and have started thinking about it. I’m thinking about doing a string of type-centric CDPs, perhaps in July, just to make a bit of a theme out of it! But either way, I’ll add it to my list!
Cool! But I wonder when they’ll release the rest of the Hunting Hounds.
