    Artmegia Lore Intro

    NessBy NessApril 20, 202517 Comments

The power of the gods, hidden right in your school

A brief introduction to the Artmegia theme has been revealed via the V-JUMP magazine.

With “Artmegia the Academy City of Divine Arts” as its stage, the battle for the “Divine Power” begins.

    “Artmegia” Founding History
“Imprisoned Deities” are higher beings living in the Spiritual World that is cut off from the Real World.
In an era of chaos brought about by various nations vying for supremacy, there was one powerful nation that prospered with the power of the “Imprisoned Deity”.
“Artmegia, the Academy City of Divine Arts”
It is an Academy City State that won the war against other nations with the power of “Nerva, the Imprisoned Deity of Creation” who is one of the Gods of the Spiritual World.
The academy which was created for students to compete against each other learning “Armagi”, drawing its magic power of “Nerva”, eventually became a nation.

A being who holds the destiny of “Artmegia” in his hands with his power of “Future Prophecy”.

The “Imprisoned Deity” who supplies magic power to “Artmegia”
Nerva the Imprisoned Deity of Creation

“Medius” who has inherited the power of “Nerva”

    TL notes:
-“Armagi” is written as 神芸術 (divine + arts + technique(s)), and force-read as Armagi. This is different from the terms forced-read as “Artmegia” in the other cards.
-Medius’ power is written as 予幻視 (yogenshi), a homophone for 予言 (yogen, prophecy) but replacing the second kanji for “illusion”, and “sight”.

I through the title say Armatos Legio and I got excited for a second. Now I’m disappointed.

For some reason, this archetype gives me huge Manakhemia vibes. I don’t know if someone here knows the reference, but they were some nice RPG games for Play Station 2.

That reminds me, did we get an article translating the lores from Valuable Book EX5? I can’t remember.

Yugipedia doesn’t even have a page covering them.

I haven’t seen EX 5 yet. My guess is that whoever handles the books waits for sites like this one to cover them; I remember checking their page for EX 4 lores, and it getting expanded upon around the same times this site posted articles for its sections.

It’s kind of frustrating cause the White Forest page directly references contents from EX5 lores but doesnt have a page for what its referencing.

We are translating them right now.

Would love a main theme to be set in current or not-too distant future. The only archetype i can think that fits this criteria is Spyral. You have james bond and metal gear-esque characters and plot but technology isn’t that advance. No megazord, robot troopers, etc

Imagine trapping God and using them to keep the lights on.

Didn’t Gen 7 of Pokemon do that with Necrozma?

So there will be other archetypes to make use of the future imprisoned deities with Medius (and likely his rival) as the unifiers.
