Oh dear is someone running low on whale oil and desperate for new blood? Speed duel is too expensive for kids after all. The answer is simple beginner friendly cards like zeus and eldlich.

I never thought I’d see Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder and magic cylinder in the same star system, let alone the same product , Konami must be desperate for the kiddos to enter the game 😂😂

This product is just schizophrenic, it’s desperate to attract new players yet tries to teach them Visas… The game does yes need new blood but reprinting everything to the ground and then creating a very confusing product is not the answer. It’s the game’s mechanics and player base Konami, not the card pool.

They gotta get the set to sell somehow otherwise the whales won’t care.

Man, yugioh players will literally complain about whales and then moan about good reprints in the same set. This product is designed for new players and we know like 8 cards in it, wait for the full set release before you jump to stupid conclusions

My problem with the product is the choice of cards , you have Zeus, visas and the like mixed in with anime fans bate and a product that should appeal to the wider audience, doesn’t always work

Yep, a bunch of whiners. Thank God we don’t get a say in making products.

I actually like this kind of building because most of my decks are like this: throwing a bunch of unrelated cards that apparently don’t synergize but still provide a good offense & defense in many situations. I don’t get why Dark Magician Girl, though, there are better DM cards.

Yeah I agree with the people who find this set weird or schizophrenic as one said. I figured they would’ve put more thought into it like make a whole theme based deck like Stardust/Synchrons vs Utopia and add as much support cards there. Nope, foolish me. Not whining like the people who are telling others to stop, cuz I’m buying one of these.

Not a whale. For the uninitiated, in urban or gaming terms, whales are people who spend large amounts of money in gacha games, commonly in mobile games. But now I guess that applies to anything seeing people spend large amounts on booster boxes and so on to get everything or what they want.

trading card games were gacha before gacha was even a thing

I’m just glad that they’re making new Starter decks again. I’m already planning on getting it, regardless of content, because I want Konami to feel like they can still bring in new players. Besides, I like how it has that silly mix of casual and serious cards like two kids threw decks together before sitting down to play for the first time. The product is supposed to come with a comic and I’m curious as to the story, if any, is beyond a scripted game for new players.
