Did you know the Flatswood Monster is known as Ms. 3 Meters Tall in Japan?
Sannomiyakin G Robo Three Kai (Sannomiya Golden G Robo MK-III)
Level 3 LIGHT Reptile Normal Monster
ATK 300
DEF 1500
(Its power source is AA Batteries. Its daily routine is to watch videos while taking a walk. It never works nor studies.)
Note: This card is a play on the name of Ninomiya Kinjirou, a prominent 19th-century Japanese agriculturalist, philosopher, moralist, and economist. It literally looks like him, and its name sounds like his name, except they changed “Ni” (two) to “San” (three). There are some stories in which it’s said his statues run around schools at night.
Note 2: AA Batteries in Japan are known as 単三電池 Taisan Denchi, i.e. “A #3 Battery”, continuing Mitsuko’s 3 puns.

Warp Baachan San Shimai (The Three Warp-Granny Sisters)
Level 3 LIGHT Reptile Normal Monster
ATK 1300
DEF 300
(A trio of sisters who warp in unique poses. Their hobby is to frighten the operators of spaceships while running alongside them.)
Note: This card is likely a reference to the Turbo Granny (ターボばあちゃん), an urban legend/ghost story in Japan of a granny who races at 100 kilometers per hour.
Hakushokuwaiseijin San Germain (Alien Count of the White Dwarf, St. Germain)
Level 7 LIGHT Reptile Normal Monster
ATK 2500
DEF 1300
(A count who has been rumored to live for over 300 years. Immediately after he gets a haircuit, he cannot fire his lasers.)
Note: This card is based on St. Germain, a famous adventurer in European high society, who is a man of many rumors, such as being a vampire, an immortal, an alchemist, many of which were spread by himself to make his past as obtuse and obscure as possible.
Hakushoku (White) sounds like Hakushaku (Count/Earl). Hakushokuwaisei is a White Dwarf. Seijin is Japanese for Alien. San is for Mitsuko’s recurring theme of “Three” in her cards, and it’s the French pronunciation for Saint.

Arrival/Visit/etc. (Sanjyou) is another word that has the sound San (3) in it.
