When I saw the other potential for the new card in this article, suddenly, I am reminded of the Malicevorous archetype. It would be nice to have some support for those cards…

As someone who really likes the Magistus Deck, I’m very happy for this promo existing.
It’s also not a surprise that they would incentive a volume promo like they did with the effect they gave this card.

Spoon is better than 80% of the Sky Striker promos. Both effects are really good.
When they make Ropo into a card, will it be a Magistua support or an Endymion Pendulum?
Ropo might just be a Sakuretsu Armor alt art. Or if he’s turned into a monster, then he searches for Sakuretsu Armor
I just started wondering that, too. After seeing this card, I went and looked up the story/characters currently in the story and saw Ropo. Both of his forms could warrant cards based on him, but the big one is the (in my opinion, really cool) armored look he ended up inadvertently taking for a time in the story.
I wonder if they print that form will it be a Main or Extra Deck Monster. And like you said, it’s also curious what theme it’ll belong to, Magistus or Endymion. (The latter because the youth started out as one of the Endymion family servants before ending up Endymion’s spy. Which also brings up the question of is Ropo meant to be the OCG Stories’s representative for either Rogue of Endymion or Servant of Endymion?)

The only reason why Sky Striker had “bad” manga promos was because they were already strong deck, and by strong I mean being once meta-warping creature that still was relevant and strong after multiple rounds of bans and restrictions. In case of Magistus Konami can go bit wilder because nobody plays Magistus anyway.
