        Rush doesn’t steal anything from the main game, and it’s time for people to stop comparing the two.

        Agreed… ish? There are some that can stay in Rush Duel, but there are a lot of cards that I want, but can’t get

        Its more of, yet more cards are being released for Rush Duel that aren’t being released for OCG/TCG. I’m hoping in the future there’s a set that introduces Rush Duel series/archetypes into the OCG/TCG, mainly because I want them, and partially because I want to see what a Magikey/Roads deck would look like

        @N Well, seeing as those artists time and funding could be going to the main game, uhh.. yes. They are stealing art from the OCG/TCG.
        Why would we not compare them? One is Yugioh. One is Yugioh Rush Duel. A separate game Konami made that could have been more of the game we love.

        I feel the same about Duel Links and Speed Duels. But, atleast with those, they pull from the main game’s card pool. They aren’t wasting card-gaming resources on them.

        Creativity is a near infinite resource, and both formats have separate R&D teams, so no, Rush isn’t taking anything from the original format.
        You focus so much on what Rush has that MD does not, yet you don’t pay enough attention to what MD has that Rush does not. Being geared towards a younger audience, most of Rush’s card designs are childish and family friendly. While MD can have themes of various art styles, Rush is stuck between chibi or cute. The humans must look cartoonish. The monsters must be cool but not realistic nor scary. No overt references to adult themes such as sex or alcohol.
        And integrating these cards into MD as well would take too much work and ruin these cards’s identity. They are designed around a game without archetypes/searching, a lower power ceiling, and drawing/milling through your Deck as the primary resource generator. Cards like Ryozai or Legend Magician would be too underpowered, while Jest of the Cosmo Princess and Legend Strike would be too powerful. They are adjusted for Rush’s format difference but cannot integrate well in MD.

      There is a skull decoration on this monster’s hat, similar to Necromaid Nana’s skull hair ties, all but confirming Schlecht as a Zombie.
      Zombie has very little support in Rush, mostly being locked to legacy vanillas and the two Zombie anime themes from SEVENS, which in themselves predominantly support low leveled Zombie vanillas. I think we are due for more generic Zombie support,
