how would they normal summon from the deck?
I mean, let’s not forget for a moment that this is Yu-Gi-Oh! — card text beats out rules, rulings beat out card text, and odd edge cases beat the lot of it.
Just because it’s not normally possible to Normal Summon from the Deck doesn’t mean that they can’t decide, in some far-flung future, to make something that Normal Summons from the Deck. You couldn’t summon something that was already on the field until they made Gemini Monsters, for example.
That being said, unless Fuwaross decides to be silly and future-proof itself in that regard it’s probably just going to go after Special Summons like the article currently has it doing, alas.

Ok,this is waaaaay beter then molchumy. All decks summon either from deck or extra(aside from like floo).
I would say Special from hand/GY is still more often than Deck
What makes this better imo cause it also draws from extra deck summons, which gives you +1 quite often

Broken? No. This is how Maxx C shouldve worked in the first place.
Even a reduced form of Maxx C is still too much. These types of cards don’t actually do much to limit combo decks when called by, ash blossom, gamma, and crossout designator are legal.
If this card ends up being half as good as Maxx C it’ll still be too much.

I’d say Fuwaross will be a little more useful than Purulia in first turns. But Purulia will be a nice Side Deck card.
I am curious how they will be used in the end.
I see a lot of doomposting but this will unironically save the TCG. We really needed a balanced Roach.

Seems like there wiil be 4 Mulcharmy for different summoning location:
– Purulia (Water/Aqua): Special from hand
– Fuwaross (Wind/Winged Beast): Special from Deck/Extra Deck
– … (Earth/Rock): Special from GY
– … (Fire/Pyro): Special from banishment
I imagine GY and banished would be lumped together in one card
The Water one also triggers on normal summon which might actually be relevant! I can see archetypes getting more “you can make an additional summon of x-archetypical card” in the future.
Depending on the Meta, these all can cause havoc but also punish people for playing combo Decks. Fiendsmith loves the Extra Deck and Deck, Snake Eyes just as much and White Wood is going that route as well.
Both TCG and OCG will definitely change with a complete archetype of these bubbly little guys
If they put deck and ED together in one card, there’s no way they are splitting GY and banishment. If there were going to be 4 Chamies, having Deck and ED seperate was the only logical way.
I guess, four cards would fit especially when they want to have all 4 elements as cards. There’s also the option of a more general way such as a special summon from anywhere during a certain phase or maybe adding cards to the hand to compensate for the opponent’s hand advantage.

As an OCG player, I was skeptical about the Maxx “C” hit at first with the first Mulcharmy, but now I think it’s coming. I don’t wanna go full copium yet so wait and see.

Im not sure but i think there will be 6 Mulcharmy for each attribute like the barrier statues. Cards +6 = 6 attributes (dont count divine)

There’s probably going to be one more for gy/banished. So basically you end up using 9 card slot to equally 3 maxx c.

Maxx C is definitely getting hit in the future, This card + Purulia are like the Pot of Extravagance/Prosperity for Maxx C, an actually balanced version of a 100% OP card. If the TCG didn’t make playing anything for cheap impossible I might’ve gotten back into it when this card drops
Why’d they change the name interpretation from Albatross to Bush Tit?
I was considering coming back to the game after quitting on Kashtira format, because current format is looking somewhat decent compared to prior formats and Infinite Forbidden looks like a pretty hype set, but I guess that just went out of the window now. Oh well, guess I’ll just stick with Hearthstone and Genius Invokation and ditch the last hopes I had on this game.
