【EFFECT】 Choose 1 “Black Luster Ritual” in you GY and add it to the hand, then you can increase the Level of this card by 1 until the end of the turn.

So basically, this card is like the Valkyrion retrain for Magician of Black Chaos but for Black Luster Soldier.
Both cards:
– recover or add their respective ritual spells to your hand.
– can act as single tributes for their respective ritual monsters.
– require 2 tributes themselves to be summoned.
– both were technically monsters Yugi always used to sacrifice to bring out said Ritual monsters.
There’s one key difference: Dedicated Protorion is more generic (it can recover any Ritual Spell Card)
This has led to Rush’s Magnet Warrior being able to carry some Ritual Monsters (like Rabbewel Ivory) and be able to recover the Ritual Spell Card with Dedicated Protorion.
Waiting for Dedicated Dark Magician!
Oh, Gaia can make himself Level 8 for the Ritual, that’s an awesome feature!
So he basically lets you convert a tribute summon into BLS. Not bad.

If Yugi played Rush, his deck would be a fun mess to look at.
Hard to judge this without the remaining support but you can cheat this out with Dragoncurse Magician or use it in the hand or GY as material for Dark Cavalry or the Gaia Fusions. It also works with Dedicated Curse of Dragon in existing Ritual builds.
On its own, this Gaia Retrain combines quite well with many existing Rush’s Gaia cards more than Ritual Dark Magician. Although, well, Konami’s intention is for you to play Rush’s Gaia with BLS.
I assume this preview is a hint that they’ll reveal the full BLS Deck in the coming days.
I thought it meant that it is a Gaia that can be summoned with only 1 tribute.
