(1) If your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) with higher ATK than the equipped monster from the Extra Deck: You can target 1 of them; destroy it, also the equipped monster, and if you do, you take damage equal to the destroyed monsters’ total original ATK, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the damage you took.
Note: あないみじや Anaimijiya is like an exclamation of “Oh My God”, Tama-no-O means “Threaded Jewels”, but is a metaphor for life and time, and Futatsu is “Two”. It also has a vibe similar to 人を呪わば穴二つ “If you curse someone, you better dig two holes”.

I’m still bummed that neither incarnation of ring of destruction actually combos with ring of defense as intended. Maybe we could still get manga ring of destruction someday albeit with heavy restrictions.
It’s rlly bad, even for mikanko, since it only pops ED monsters, But Mikanko xyz is a pretty good target seeing as if U add destruction protection, U basically get an anti-ED card.
But RN, Most ED mins U gonna summon are gonna have protection or they Float.
So it isn’t rlly that great.
They really let mikanko down with this one.
Well this is disappointing, because since this is meant to be the mikanko follow up support, it means that the dark magician follow up will not be part of the dm archetype as well, but just something generic that has synergy, which I think is the worst type of design.

I’m not convinced this is the mikanko card, this feels more adjacent to Doom-Z.
That said even if they do just get generic but similar support in this set they pretty much always do direct support in the set after.

@Cerayubel But it actually works. Same ruling as SPYRAL Sleeper equipped with Last Resort. The equipment will destroy the opponent’s monster, but not your own, and the damage dealt will only be based on the one monster destroyed.
What I mean is you can use it for the pop just wont do the damage part, A needs to occur for B to do
I may combine this with a burn deck that plays lava golem or maybe the kaiju

Need to say: 1. U need to equip 1 Extradeck Monster ; Second : Mikanko cant abuse this – the Card needs to destroy both cards – If u Trick a bit with mikanko Ohime U can protect your own Monster ye but nothing Else. (Destruction wont trigger damage i think.)
Mikanko Xyz searches the card and it say destroy THEM not both, so it doesn’t care if one of the monsters is not destroyed, then you take the burn off the opponents monster then inflict the same to the opponent.
It needs to destroy both to inflict damage, but it can still destroy the opponent’s ED monster, without destroying your own. It’s also not once per turn.
Looking at it again, it might be the case that if only one monster is destroyed, and not also the equipped monster, damage will still be inflicted to you, then the opponent.
This ruling comes from Topologic Trisbaena, which says: Banish as many of those monster(s) as possible, also as many Spells/Traps on the field as possible, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each of their cards banished by this effect.
If only a monster is banished, or if only a Spell/Trap is banished, damage is still inflicted. You do not need to banish a monster, also a Spell/Trap, to succeed on the “and if you do” conjunction.
This is designed for Doom-Z.

COWARDS won’t allow simultaneous damage even though the flavor implies a double killings. Ties are a taboo now. I wouldn’t mind if this and the few similar effects damaged the enemy first.
I think more its more a Doom-Z card then mikanko. Yeah maybe useable but not really good.
This is actually infinite detonator for monsters in Mikanko, because the Mikanko equips prevent the equipped monster from being destroyed by card effects. “Also” on this card means that the opponent’s monster will be destroyed even if yours isn’t.

This works well with the new Doom-Z that just appeared. All of them work around equips and being destroyed by card effects.
The go-to XYZ also has some destruction protection, so it won’t get destroyed by using the equipped effects.
Doesn’t this technically become a stun floodgate for the Extra Deck if equipped to Kikinagashi Fucho?
As long as that ED monster can be targeted and destroyed. Although they will still get their effect if they have one on Summon, or a Quick Effect.
It’s not opt, so a monster with destruction protection could activate this every time your opponent summons an extra deck monster. The effect damage would not proc though.
Effect damage would still probably be inflicted, as long as one monster is destroyed. Could be a Topologic Trisbaena scenario. It’s a weird conjunction.
In a weird way, if you’re able to get your opponent down to low lp, this can act as a flood gate, locking them out of the extra in fear that their creature is going to kill them.
What happens if you equip this to a monster that cannot be destroyed or had spell effect immunity?

Okay so I equip this to Power Tool Braver Dragon with Life Extreme and Deal tons of Damage and may be able to then summon Lifestream Dragon if I control another Monster to tribute to set my LP back to 4000.
I feel like Power Tool can make this card usable.
