Note: Dogu (An Ancient Japanese Artifact) and El Dorado (The legendary city of Gold). Eva notes Ziggurat is also likely in here, as Japanese creators use the word as a shorthand for any ancient super technology.

Maybe they aren’t making as much Insect stuff because of last year? They introduced Ragnaraika, Battlewasp Support, the Indestructible Insects…
Then again I feel that they are also in a revamping phase; that same year they made Memento, Millennium, Shining Sarcophagus, and some Normal retrains.

Not a very good card in my opinion.
With all the cards slots ALIN is saving with 2 card support waves as opposed to 4-7, I really hope Konami make best use of the extra space and not give us more cards like this….

The first effect can be kinda dumb if used right. What rock are you using to link this and take full advantage I have no idea but it’s a fun effect. The quick effect pop can be pretty good in certain situations

Funnily enough, Megalith can use this. Megalith Phaleg can boost this to absurd amounts.
Would be a fun little guy if the second effect wasn’t once per turn.

Transverser is currently the only generic Rock Link monster that you could make this with, giving any Deck a quick pop up to 2200 ATK.
You can get I:P into S:P for about the same materials, though (2 non-Link monsters and 1 Effect monster vs 2 Effect monsters and 1 monster). I think this guy will be better as a beatstick for decks that can regularly get a big rock in the Graveyard instead of something you’d use for removal.

Randomly Neo Space Connector Into Neo-Spacian Grand Mole. But you probably need more Rock Targets Because then you won’t just get 900 attack.
However: it’s a link 3 so you have the ability to link climb afterwards or Recode Alive to banish it to Summon a Code Talker. Just random ideas.

basically drident as a link 3, not terrible but doesnt hold up very well anymore
The effect isn’t bad, but it’s super costly to make outside of Adamancipator or a non-Rock combo deck using the Nemesis engine with an allergy to Colossus.
Like, sure, my Triamid deck will take the card, but it’d need support to make it without wiping out my entire board in the process.
While on paper this card is lame, its actually a 2 spot ed option for a quick effect monster destruction, which can be very usefull for the right decks
Only think i dont get at all is why its first effect is once per turn…
It’s… purely casual card and even then it’s really not that great. Someone in comments mentioned Magnet Warriors and probably that’s the best place for it?
Be nice if we could get a Link-2 Rock that does something for the type
I like this one. You can use Gallant Granite as one of its materials after searching Lord of the Heavenly Prison, and then have it be the target for its first effect, putting it at 3300 ATK. Alternatively, you can also use/target LotHP itself after making use of it, putting this at 4k.
In this way, as long as your deck’s playstyle has room for GG in your ED and LotHP in your MD, this card can provide for a pretty nice beatstick when you really need one.
