Yeah, Luna and Aki are weird with how their manga dragons are incompatible with their anime counterparts due to naming, but the other Signers are.
Aki’s Black Rose Moonlight Dragon is still part of Aki’s “Rose” Synchro archetype. They could have done the same think for Luna given she has the only “Ancient” Dragon Synchros in the whole game.

These cards are pretty cute but aside from AFD and to a limited extent the Field Spell as a floodgate they won’t see much play.
Is a shame that Sunlight Unicorn didn’t got it’s retrain but Finally our Girl had her Upgrade Dragon
I’d say chances are good we’ll get a Sunlight Unicorn and/or Sunny Pixie retrain.

Not true. Ancient Fairy Dragon was the cover for Ancient Prophecy way back when.

Life Dragon is certainly splashable in many decks. Not sure for Melodious specifically
Ruka fever is sweeping the world! Normally an article like this would use a 5d’s screenshot or gif instead of immediately spoiling the art so I could slowly savor scrolling down but whatever. Fairy Archer benefits but a few other members of the crew aren’t LIGHT, alas. Kuribon still not treated as a “Kuriboh” monsters, tsk. Very strange that Blood Rose Dragon and Black-Winged Assault Dragon have a perk involving their base forms but not Power Tool Braver Dragon and Ancient Fairy Life Dragon. Stop treating the twins as second-class signers! Not surprised to see a focus on Ancient Forest’s thing given the lack of material to work with, mainly Ruka’s one and ONLY 1v1 duel that was still interrupted in a way. Life gain/burn focus next time? Monsters don’t have an “endurance” stat so the most support def can have is the SHS treatment it seems.
If we could have nice things the next wave would be 5 or more cards to make up for lost time and a new Ruka-focused OVA of course.
I wonder if they’ll make a card based on the de-aged Dark Sage/Torunka who helped Ruka defeat Zeman and free the Spirits.
On that note, and I know this is a pipe dream, but imagine if they also did retrains of monsters who appeared in 5D’s spirit world in some way, be it physically or as stone tablets in Zeman’s castle.

Not sure how good it is, but they did a decent attempt at connecting the mish-mash of Ruka’s cards into somewhat coherent strategy. And because it’s a rather curious tri-type support there’s a lot to be tested and experiment with, too!

If they connect this to dark Sage that means he’s now connected to Dark Magician support which would change this entire deck to being a lot more valuable but also there’s one other thing that could do that would be very impressive and that would be give her a level 10 which mentions pixie dragon.
Or connect kariboh to this art type because by doing so you now have two separate toolboxes she can go into
I wonder if this means that they’ll print Double Ripple since the Duel Links version of that card mentions Ancient Fairy Dragon and would therefore be searchable off of new Regulus.
Part 2 of my euphoria
Even before noticing Cusillu in the art I was thinking about how we need s/t artwork of LIfestream Dragon fighting Chacu Challhua. Justice must be done! Outside of Morphtronic Earfon neither of the twins have lower lv in-theme extra deck options. “When you’re not a first-class signer” moment. That is another place for improvement. I just noticed LIfe Dragon is stat creep with pure upside, as far as level 8 synchros go. Just earlier we had gross generic scale 9 with pure upside. Such is life.
I guess the remaining anime slots are acrana force? I hope.
The Metalmotph cards in SUDA were listed after the Materiactors. So if we follow that pattern, Arcana Force cards would be under the new Dragon Ruler cards. I hope we at least get a couple of new AF monsters.
Sad thing is, Crow was the one who dealt with the whale, not Leo, who didn’t even have Black-Feathered Dragon. That was the Blackwings vs. Reactors matchup, but my God, I’d love to see more cards that show the Earthbounds in action!

Since “The World of Spirits” can only be activated once per turn, it can only resolve its activation once per turn. So the first effect can only happen once per turn.
