Before someone else comes in and posts the obligatory “why is it always Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician???”, remember these are based on the artworks from the Unity & Pride collections. The mirrored art of these cards are also Red-Eyes, and Dark Magician Girl, who already got alternate versions of the art used in the Unity & Pride set. I’m actually surprised these 2 didn’t get released first, but here they are, to match up with their mirrored counterparts.

I don’t mind DM and BE getting lots of artworks, they are the two most iconic monsters in the game afterall. But, why are these so ugly? lol

So boring when the same two monsters have like a dozen alt artworks already, most of which are as ugly as these new ones.
It’s almost like they’re the two most iconic monsters in the franchise. Pokémon would never do this same thing with charizard or pikachu for sure (obvious sarcasm)
just when I thought the Millennium Tablet artwork was their worst artworks the quarter century super glitter bonanza last time big boy box has proven me wrong
The Dark Magician alt art looks almost like a mirror of Dark Magician the Magician of Black Magic.
