Ok, witch summon Magician, so easy contact, but…meh:V

Contact Fusion Monsters in Decks that already have Fusion Monsters and Fusion Summoning effects to bring them out should never be designed such that they’re stronger than those Fusions that require an effect to be made. That should remain the trade-off of not needing another card/effect to pull off the Fusion Summon.
And for that matter, Contact Fusion Monsters in general need to be designed carefully, so as not to break Fusions and render non-Contact Fusions obsolete.
Given how easy she is to make in Celeb Rose, Incognito Magician is perfectly fine as-is.
@J. D. Guy. And then there’s Voidverg, who has replaced its Fusion Monsters with the Fusion Monsters that Dark Matter brought to the Deck.
Sure, some are still used, like Gigantomachia and Chaosmachia, but basically Requiem and its Contact Fusion have become the face of Voidverg when it comes to Fusion Summon.
That Deck really wants its Anime-exclusive Fusion Spell Card to breathe new life into the rest of its Fusion Monsters.
Starbies in the lore for today
Ah… I completely forgot about this Fusion Monster.
Also, looking at the Monsters that Celeb Rose has, this Fusion Monster is very easy to bring out and revive, and provides a viable answer to facing Monsters with high ATK.
Konami realizes how abusive this card would be in Celeb Rose so they gave her an even more restrictive version of the requirement the usual anime Contacts have.
And in a Deck centralized on these two materials in particular she is very easy to summon and her effect closes out games. Don’t forget the two Equip Spells that name change and because they don’t specify Fusion Summoning via Fusion, you can return the equipped monsters to the Deck too.
the card is good. It is not crazy but is useful on the deck when you have enought card advantage to make it effects worth.
Celeb rose didn’t need Contact fusion, the deck already has ease of using “Fusion” and has much more interesting fusion Monsters available. I think there are less favored decks that deserved a contact monster more than Celeb Rose.
probably, but this is a card from the anime and if you have watched the anime it makes sense that this card exists XD
I mean… Music Princess also got a Contact Fusion Monster that the Deck didn’t need since it had better Fusion Monsters.
Not to mention that unlike Celeb Rose, Music Princess had its own Fusion Spell Card that was a Miracle Fusion for the Deck. And yet, the Deck still got a Contact Fusion Monster.
Yuamu invented Contact Fusion when she designed her deck. Anyone who is on her side will have it by default. Plus Asaka sealed Yuna’s Fusion spell away from her not anticipating the Contact. Plus other monster pairings that recover or Special Summon each other have been given Contacts so far
