I hope this isn’t an exhaustive list of the games included, still holding out for Tag Force 6 which never got a release outside of Japan.

It isn’t, they said these five & more

      • Rue on September 9, 2024 9:51 am

I wouldn’t expect any tag force games though, this is probably only going to be stuff for the original Gameboy

    2. No Duel Monsters 5? on September 9, 2024 9:47 am

Why no Duel Monsters 5? what happened to it?

      • NeoArkadia on September 9, 2024 10:33 am

They probably just haven’t announced it, and 6 was announced to confirm that it wouldn’t just be the GB/GBC games.

Looks meh. It will sell because of the duster, but is probably just gbc and gba games with no QoL improvements.

Not worth it. Maybe if they included falsebound kigndom, forbidden memories, duelist of the roses, etc.

Which are still somewhat interesting as they are not sims of the game.

      • NobodyBW on September 10, 2024 12:26 am

Yeah, sadly I don’t anticipate any of the Tag Force titles.

Konami’s marketing for this collection is so weird.

Haven’t shown any gameplay, all the titles still aren’t known (???), no release date yet – and people are not even sure if the games will actually be translated to English or not. And it was announced like seven months ago. Did they come up with it on the spot back then or something?

It would be very silly to not translate these games if they plan to release them in English. And to be honest most JP-exclusive YGO games from GB, GBC and GBA has no fan translation so having english release is kinda neat.
Still, it’s a product for very niche audience. I don’y think that Konami expects huge sales in the first place so they don’t focus on advertising it too much – it’s just rerelease of old, crusty games for the 3 or so people that care.
