Funny deck !
A TCG premiere deck, and a flip deck… and somehow it turned out actually playable. Really impressed with this.
First Flip archetype where Reverse Reuse is actually a viable card towards its strategy rather than just setting up petty targets
Well, not an archetype, but I use Reverse Reuse in Empty Jar because the Jars don’t care who flipped them up and affect both players equally.
What a novel theme for the TCG
Doesn’t look like wasted cardboard…
Reminds me of ghostrick, similar artworks and both utilize facedown position.
I’m not sure about playability of these things but they look fun?
If you watch Konami’s video about them, they definitely have some Rogue vibes to them. However, I could see them needing a good pilot to manage the resources properly!
They appear to be solidly Rogue, but they’ll likely need a decent pilot to both keep resources stocked, and to determine when and which effects to use.
Also other solid flips to slot in will be a must. Guard Dog seems like a good 1-2 combo with Master.
And maybe Whirlwind Weasel for that extra F You to your opponent
Oh god, Guard Dog and Whirlwind Weasel are the ideal targets for Mimighoul Maker.
Color me surprised. A modern TCG-exclusive archetype that isn’t awful… in fact, they’re actually pretty darn good. I like this. More like this.
This is a good start.
What is the obsession of Konami TCG and putting things in the rival field I also wonder if these fellas will go well with the Prediction Princesses
I’d say it’s about equal with OCG’s obsession with tucking monsters into the S/T zone.
At last! my shaddoll have a spell searcher that both summon and add in the same effect
Interesting.
FINALLY a Level 1 “Archfiend” monster for Pandemonium to search!
Also, WOW. Mimighoul Maker is ridiculously good Jar support. Choose Cyber Jar and Morphing Jar #2 and you can guarantee some fun.
Is maker a purely generic flip card or do you have to play mimighoul? The part at the end the “you can special a mimighoul” part throws me off
It’s completely generic.
There decent to say the least. I need to see them played tested before I can say it good
I think I just found Flip’s (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal)’s Deck for my FanFic, I mean this Archetype is him all over!
Literally was thinking the exact same thing. Flip as a character was always hard to include for me because what good flip decks are there? Ghostrick, Prediction Princess, Subterror, Jar Control/Mill, and to an extent Ninjas exist but already have a character tied to them or just aren’t his style. The Jar deck was the closest I had till now. Flip as a character has always been that shady car salesman-type that offers you a great deal but when you accept you find out it’s a lemon.
Ok so in an effort to help out any fellow duelists that are considering the deck as I am, here’s a list of some good flips to use. Given two have already been mentioned above, let’s start with them.
Guard Dog- Your opponent cannot special summon for the rest of this turn.
Whirlwind Weasel- Your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards for the rest of this turn.
Now onto my additional contributions. Feel free to add more if you find any.
Greenkappa- Target 2 set Spell/Trap cards on the field; destroy them.
Tornado Bird- Return 2 Spell or Trao cards on the field to their owners’ hands.
Sonic Jammer- Your opponent cannot activate any Spell cards until the end of the End Phase of the next turn.
Nobleman-Eater Bug- Destroy two monsters on the field.
Brain Jacker- Equip this card to a monster on your opponents side of the field and treat it as an Equip Card. Take control of the equipped monster. Your opponent gains 500 LP during each of their standby phases
Desertapir- Target one face-up monster on the field, except “Desertapir”; change it to face-down defense position.
Jowls of Dark Demise- Target one monster your opponent controls; gain control of it (until the End Phase), and if you do it can attack your opponent directly this turn.
Mahjong Munia Maidens- You can draw a card, then discard a card. One per turn, you can change this card to face-down defense position.
Does dragon add the S/T if I summon it facedown on my opp’s field?
No so use Dragon for that if you’re going first, and as a wipe if you’re going second
No adventurer has conquered this dungeon before. The day that happens is the day guard dog stops monopolizing all flip support.
Great in Ghostrick I guess, as they are currently the best flip deck by far… Or , am I crazy for thinking it is good with Ghostrick engine…
Best Flip? Krawler would like a word with you.
Watch Mimighoul Maker be a stealth secret rare so they can milk $40 out of use for a playset.
Mimighoul Master has a QCR variant.
Huh how to search with mimighoul dragon?
If Dragon is summoned to your side, you can add a Mimighoul spell or trap to your hand. Typically this will be the field spell
Everyone focus on mimighoul maker while mimighoul cerberus makes me think of random gimmick puppet nightmare/ra’s disciple/ido to summon to opp. Field.
Funny deck! Very cute! All I can think of is the mirror match being an absolute nightmare!
