Will this set put an end to all the crossovers? Probably not.
The “Deck Build Pack: Crossover Breakers (tentative title)” that lets you easily construct a Deck with just the included cards will be released on August 24, 2024. This pack will contain three different types of themes, and you can build a Deck with just the included cards! Furthermore, new cards and cards with good synergy will also be reprinted!

Honestly I wish we would back during the Arc V era where each Deck Built Pack contains at least two Anime archtypes. Espically since Animation Chronicles packs had gone downhill the last few years.
I wish that would happen. So many anime only decks to be printed…
Or at least something similar to Selection 10 because that how we got Sunavalon into the real game.
At least we have the Duelists packs? I’m looking forward to the Duelists of Brilliance ever since I found out that Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon is getting an alt art that gives it a much better visual profile than its original.
I’m curious on what the next duelist packs are going to be. If I had to guess there probably going to be era themed. Like we’ll get a DM one than a GX one and so on.

Yeah, those were better. We don’t need 6 additional themes introduced every year with like 2 waves of additional support and then never heard from again. Booster Special packs introduced one anime theme, gave support to one previously existing anime/manga theme and then introduced one new theme. A good balance.
I hope the next Duelist Pack is Multi-Attribute themes. Raphael, Carly/Z-One and last would probably be Reiji or Ai.
Agree. Unfortunately they may never go back to do that considering how successful these packs have been. These now usually the most meta defining sets of the year with at least one archtype becoming top tier almost immediately.
At least one. Secret Forces only had Yosenju as the lone anime archetype in the set. Ritual Beast and Nekroz were both DT Lore Archetypes.
Based on the last two years, the first theme should be revealed in mid July, while the other two should be in early to mid August.
I think one of these themes will be Xyz, as we haven’t had one since Purrely. Plus crossing over speaks Xyz to me.
Crossover is also the name of the field spell that was used in the alternate dimensions in Arc V (it’s what let them use action card).
Here comes the trinity: Mecha, Dragon and Waifu.
If it’s not that trinity, it’s the other one: Warrior, Dragon/Mecha and Waifu,
I’d say you’re missing the other possiblility of Warrior, Mecha, and Dragon/Waifu, but we already got Dragonmaids for that last one
Give me either a Dinosaur ritual theme or a FIRE ritual theme based around Legendary Flame Lord.

“Crossover Breakers”, huh, wonder what that can mean. The naming convention usually does a good job of describing at least two Archetypes.
Crossover: It will be a new Archetype of many Monsters from different Eras of Yu-Gi-Oh that are united by some unique artifact or power.
Breakers: An Archetype based on the destruction of buildings, dimensions or that seek to bring chaos (I can see them as a kind of muscular entities that impose a lot)
So I guess we are only getting one Deck Build pack this year?
Someone pointed out that the Unity/Pride reprint products that released in February and March likely took the space that would have gone to the first Deck Build Pack of the year. (Especially the Pride one that came out March.)

You know what would be nice with these? If they made the three themes in these packs be connected to each other in some way, lore wise.
Like, for example, the three archtypes exist in the same burnt out wasteland, fighting for supplies. The Mecha is the group that uses technology found from the ancient past to survive, the Waifus have gone savage and use primitive tools, and the dragon/beast are the mutated creatures that wander the wasteland. And their spells and traps would have art referencing they battles they have.
They wouldn’t be connecting in terms of playability but it would be fun if they just went together.
