Springtime for me, winter for you.
RD/KP17-JP065 神疑の光来 Shingi no Kourai (Auspicious Arrival of Divine Doubt)
Normal Trap Card
[REQUIREMENT] When a monster on your opponent’s field is sent to the GY.
[EFFECT] You draw 2 cards, then, you can randomly choose 1 card in your opponent’s hand and send it to the GY.
Note: Uh, 光来 (Kourai) is basically a fancy way of saying ‘visit’ or ‘arrival’. 神疑 is a play on 信疑 (Shingi) which means “Truth or Error”, “Belief or Doubt” or “Authenticity”, but here it would mean literally Divine Doubt. Or it’s 神技 (Divine Feat) with Doubt switched in for Feat. So…

Now even our hand is not safe…
Get taxed
-Strongest MagnetDeck Hater-
Implying you have at least one card during the turn that this card could be activated, of course.
This Trap Card looks like a kind of nerfed version of Traditional Tax.
And Traditional Tax is not a Staple when it came out (it was more of a Side Deck tool)
This is a draw card. The hand rip is optional.
Plus their requirements aren’t even the same. Your opponent isn’t likely to draw on your turn, while this card can easily be used on your turn as you are removing their front row.
Of course this being a Trap, like Tax, it is too slow and not reactionary enough to see conventional play. And with this as a Rare, it isn’t designed to be a staple but a filler card in the set.
