Knight: Sun Edition & Knight: Moon Edition
Soleil the Skysavior Angel & Lua the Skysavior Angel
Full art:
Illustrator’s comment:
“For the angels that provide their divine protection to the Skysavior knight’s order, one of them has the sun on her face (Soleil) and one has the moon on her face (Lua), and in order to make their ying-yang distinction even more explicit, the design of the sun [one] has warm colors and an energetic personality, while the design of the moon [one] has cold colors and a quiet personality. Nowadays, I think it would have been better to make Soleil even more whimsical and flashy to highlight even more the ying-yang distinction in their personalities.”
Ciela the Skysavior Knight & Dunkes the Skysavior Knight
Full art:
Emblem:
“Common emblem of the knight’s order”
Height:
“5 centimeters shorter than Dunkes”
Face notes:
Top: “A monocle with a decoration similar to the emblem of the knight’s order. Only the left side has a lens, while the right side only has a moon-shaped frame”
Bottom: “When Ciela is [worried/troubled], wrinkles appear in his forehead”
TL note: The sides of the monocle are written as seen from the viewer’s perspective, not from Ciela’s perspective
Ranga the Skysavior Knight & Seir the Skysavior Knight
Full art:
Ranga’s notes:
Ranga: “Dunkes-san!”
Bottom right: “[Acts like a] puppy”
Seir’s notes:
Left: “Because he takes naps outdoors, he’s covered in dirt”
Right: “Because he’s constantly tanking for his allies, his muscles are covered in scars”
Digrace the Skysavior Radiance & Drukmoor the Skysavior Phantom
Full art:
Floating objects:
Left: “Floats”
Right: “Wing-like objects x4”
Illustrator’s comment:
“These are the upgraded forms that ‘Dunkes the Skysavior Knight of the Bright Heavens’ from the Sky Savior Knight’s Order after receiving the divine protection of Lua and Soleil respectively. Because they are Level 9 Fusion Monsters, their designs accentuate the characteristics of each of them through much heavier equipment.”
TL note: The name of Dunkes is different from its actual card name. This is just a rough translation for the additional kanji.
Solcier the Skysavior Lightflash & Altierra the Skysavior Transience
Full art:
Altierra’s notes:
Right: “Scope”
Left: “Because he’s no longer using a bow, he doesn’t carry a quiver on his back”
Illustrator’s comment:
“This is the evolution tree for Ciela the Skysavior Knight. Ciela is an androgynous-looking man, but by borrowing the power of Soleil, he becomes Solcier, and by borrowing the power of Lua, he becomes Altierra. With either evolution, his manliness increases! Or at least that’s how I designed them: An evolution to a handsome man of light, and an evolution to a handsome man of darkness.”

Probably in my top 3 favorite Rush-exclusive series; they seem simplistic at first but a lot of details are given to each monster’s personality and I’m glad the book showcased it.
It’s also nice to think that Skysavior wasn’t the reason they stopped making Rush’s exclusive Archetypes considering they’ve tried that idea again with Love.
Sure, OCG/TCG imports will always generate excitement, but it never hurts to see an exclusive Rush’s Archetype every once in a while.
the tier 0
(I know no is, but is my joke)
Wasn’t completely sure at first but I guess this confirms Ciela is a guy.
Still would
