      • Name* on September 9, 2024 6:54 am

@free speech, how does Konami’s boot taste? Make sure you shine it up good, sheep.

    2. S.G on August 31, 2024 2:31 pm

They banned BOTH lacrima and Beatrice

I mean we all knew Beatrice was gonna go, but lacrima?

      • Josue on August 31, 2024 7:28 pm

Que radical banear apolusa que irá

    3. Dukeof2 on August 31, 2024 2:31 pm

      • Logic Bomb on August 31, 2024 3:03 pm

        Not happening.

    4. S.G on August 31, 2024 2:33 pm

      Tenpai
      Branded
      Gimmick puppet
      Snake-eye
      Yubel/sacred beast
      Fiendsmith
      Centur-ion

      • Robin on August 31, 2024 3:15 pm

        blue-eyes meta here it comes

      • Zium158 on August 31, 2024 5:01 pm

Centur-Ion still have Cosmic Blazar and Red Supernova

      • Mike Johnson on September 1, 2024 5:16 pm

How did puppet get hit? There are so many ways to recycle branded fusion out of the gy and banishment zone that limiting it to 1 really dosnt change the deck or how we play at all.

      • Dedede on September 1, 2024 5:49 pm

they hit puppet because they have a otk going on

      • Laharl on September 3, 2024 9:04 am

        *FTK
And besides that is the FTK still alive

    5. Superbar on August 31, 2024 2:36 pm

Should have banned Ash and Poplar but this list is still good.

      • Bbn on August 31, 2024 4:43 pm

That would of been dumb the deck wouldn’t be able to play atall

      • Planc on August 31, 2024 5:57 pm

These 2024 format goes beyond help

    6. Shadowcat on August 31, 2024 2:46 pm

I think Snake-Eye needed a bigger hit and I still want Shifter gone. But at least this list will actually do something to the meta

      • Dudegrey on August 31, 2024 2:58 pm

        The Azamina cards in question:

    7. DudeDudesky on August 31, 2024 3:03 pm

So Dragon Rulers are back and we got quite a number of new Dragon toys during their absence. I’m not sure what to think about it…

      • B.C. on August 31, 2024 4:51 pm

Now we all know you do not play Masterduel

    8. Alderman on August 31, 2024 3:05 pm

Can you imagine telling somebody in the early ARC-V era that Dragon Rulers would be semi-limited and Time Seal would be unlimited in the same list that has Number 40 limited?

      • windzy on August 31, 2024 4:26 pm

Or that Yubel will be meta. Ppl would call me crazy

      • Federplayer on August 31, 2024 5:09 pm

It’d be even more unbelievable if we told them Kaiser Colosseum, Ronintoadin and Summon Limit would be banned while Raigeki, Yata-Garasu and Change of Heart (in OCG) would be unlimited.

      • WildKamuran on August 31, 2024 9:42 pm

Broddah what? you smoking so good kush lemme have some of dat
Now: I never thought i see the day the dragon rulers comes to 2 again.

      • HFIL on September 3, 2024 3:47 pm

And they could come to 3 and would do less than nothing. Times have certainly changed….except Time Seal has always been bad.

    9. Fumetsusozo on August 31, 2024 3:11 pm

They actually BANNED Apollousa! Nice! Some people thought I was crazy in the past for wanting over powered + over used generic extra deck cards like her banned in the past in order to promote better end board variety… But it finally happened! Also I absolutely didn’t expect the Fiendsmith hit considering how new that card is for the TCG.

      • Zandorum on September 1, 2024 8:23 pm

I feel like the only generic negates that are acceptable are synchros but they need to Attribute/Type restrict so it’s not COMPLETELY generic just type generic. They also need to be more awkward of levels, like 10 is just to easy but stuff like 5 or 7 is hard.

    10. Hermes on August 31, 2024 3:19 pm

      Sacred Beasts Did Nothing Wrong!!!!

      • off333 on August 31, 2024 3:59 pm

Sacred Beasts‘ sin are helping Yubel, so they deserve it. 😉

      • Ehs on September 2, 2024 12:14 am

Not really, it’s all Yubel’s fault. Phantom should have hard opt summon or get limited.

      • HFIL on September 3, 2024 3:48 pm

I am perfectly okay with sacrificing Sacred Beasts.

    11. Trunks Strife on August 31, 2024 3:52 pm

      Let’s Go Luna Tiger!
Also Feels bad for Sacred Beasts
No love for Apollo or Calamity

    12. N on August 31, 2024 3:56 pm

Tiger should have been at 3. Ash or Poplar should have banned

    13. Maevis on August 31, 2024 4:02 pm

Why was Number 40 hit? did it contribute that much to the Gimmick Puppet modern deck?

      • Amrit Lohia on August 31, 2024 4:33 pm

Yeah, it’s a key part of the FTKs (at least the common ones).

      • Matthew Huebner on August 31, 2024 9:31 pm

Seriously I run hot red dragon archfiend king calamity in my red dragon archfiend deck it’s banned what the heck why

    14. Weeevil on August 31, 2024 4:03 pm

Why Eva? What deck is that card being abused in?

      • Fumetsusozo on August 31, 2024 4:12 pm

It was Forbidden before this list. It used to be used in both TearZero & Drytron. Personally I think Eva should had stayed banned.

      • Federplayer on August 31, 2024 5:19 pm

@Weevil Your 2nd question is the reason why Konami should post the position the cards held previously. Many people isn’t following every format.
Personally I love Eva back, should’ve happened earlier, Fairy isn’t very well supported and this card is doing nothing in OCG.

    15. Genma on August 31, 2024 4:17 pm

So I guess if you wanna play Jack.dek you’re kinda outta luck now. Sure glad I didn’t invest in 3 of the structure deck or anything.

      • Dudegrey on August 31, 2024 5:30 pm

        Imagine posting that L.

      • Chiaroscuro on August 31, 2024 6:10 pm

RDA doesn’t make KC even when going second lmao, what are you on about

      • Ehs on September 2, 2024 12:20 am

        Resonator decks don’t play calamity

    16. Cicciobbomba on August 31, 2024 4:52 pm

Forgot to ban S:P but i guess we can take the result home. May I’ll come back to this game after two years

    17. YubelMarik on August 31, 2024 5:11 pm

None of these should be on the lists at all. Konami is basically just throwing darts at a dart board.

    18. Havoc on August 31, 2024 5:17 pm

Gateway to 3 please like ocg

      • Name* on September 1, 2024 7:42 pm

LMAO, what? Gateway is limited in all facets of the game, and it’s likely never coming back to more than 1.

      • Ehs on September 2, 2024 12:21 am

Gateway is still 1 in ocg. What drug are you on?

    19. Warhaden on August 31, 2024 5:51 pm

CRIMSON DRAGON STILL ALIVE ?! AND EVEN SANCTFURE F*CK U TCG !!!

    20. Makhirot on August 31, 2024 5:55 pm

They ban a fusion of a deck that hasn’t been released yet? Ok

      • Onyxs on August 31, 2024 8:30 pm

If you mean Lacrima, Fiendsmith has been available in TCG for over a month. Don’t know where you’ve been

    21. MystikX on August 31, 2024 5:58 pm

Where’s my Misc to 3, Konami?!

    22. Dark Wraith on August 31, 2024 9:16 pm

Why they never forbid the loli hand-traps like Ash Blossom?!!! Or at least limit them!!! Those are the most anoying overused startegy-jamming cards in all meta!!!

      • Namesky on September 1, 2024 12:33 am

Because, go figure out, hand traps are what keeps this hell of a game in one piece.
Unless you really enjoy your opponent setting up their unbreakable board of 5+ floodgates and/or negates with you having absolutely no answer.

      • flackenstien on September 1, 2024 2:40 am

Hand Traps fix more than they hurt. Far more.

    23. Donnie on August 31, 2024 10:49 pm

Banning of Appo will just help Snake-Eyes. Weaker decks need those generic negates to help keep up.

      • Longyuan22 on September 1, 2024 6:42 am

Stupid comment ive seen so far

      • JuanCena on September 1, 2024 2:10 pm

How do these weaker decks play into snake eyes when they also use apo?

      • Name* on September 1, 2024 7:44 pm

I hardly see these weaker decks ending on Apollo. Only degenerate decks have used it since it was released. It got what it deserved.

    24. Makhirot on August 31, 2024 11:25 pm

Well, they finally did something with Snake Eyes, it was needed, as for Lacrima I didn’t know she had already arrived at TCG for more than a month, sorry

      • Boi on September 1, 2024 1:13 am

You are confusing Lacrima the Scarlet Sorrow (not out yet) with Fiendsmith Lacrima (out and ruining game)

    25. good user on September 1, 2024 12:58 am

everyone forget about Dimension Shifter, a toxic free win card in most cases.

      • JuanCena on September 1, 2024 2:15 pm

TCG Shifter is like OCG’s Maxx C. Konami will never touch it since it’ll help the less skilled players. This game can be pretty hard so we shouldn’t gate keep. I think it’s also skillful to play through it just like when I get nib or drolled.

      • Spectre on September 1, 2024 2:16 pm

    26. ... on September 1, 2024 9:29 pm

Don’t need to read the rest, Apollousa alone thrills me. Would be even better if that RK10 generic negate slop joins her.

      • Magnodraika on September 2, 2024 1:39 am

Out of all cards. That Xyz was the least concerned, you just have skill issue against a Yubel deck

      • ... on September 2, 2024 7:03 pm

I have no clue what the flavor of the month soft-ftk is, it’s not my interest. I’m more interested in what cards actually do and then letting the chips fall where they may.

    27. Doctor DOOM on September 1, 2024 9:42 pm

Konami of America is so washed. 🥹

    28. DaliaLlama on September 3, 2024 10:16 am

I think we could’ve hit Yubel a bit harder, limiting Phantom, perhaps?
I think Sangen should have also been flat out banned.

Also, I don’t think that anyone can change my mind. Electrumite should be at ONE. For the following reasons:
      1. At one copy in the OCG, even though they still have Baronne, Apo, and Savage Dragon, Pendulum isn’t a top tier threat. We don’t even have the generic omni’s and Apo anymore.
      2. Sure, Electrumite is splashable in every Pend Deck, cards that come out that support pendulum are actively being designed by Konami with Electrumite being legal in mind. Exceed is literally built to be made off Electrumite and Astrograph then add Astro back to hand.
      3. Speaking of Astro, yes. That would also make Astrograph splashable in 99% of Pend decks, Astro is an Ash-able chokepoint that can stop adding more cards to hand and reducing the amount of spam from a pend summon.
      4. If we’re going to errata and unban other pendulum cards because pendulum as a strategy is now weaker, we could do this two ways. Follow the OCG and put Electrumite to one, or we errata Electrumite, make both it’s effects HOPT, and then bring it back entirely.

      That’s my soapbox.
