Everyone seems to have forgotten that this deck can now play Sophia, Goddess of rebirth as their Win condition.

Since they can VERY easily bring all 4 types to field, fusion ritual, synchro and xyz.

And With some Dark Faury support or something, its possible to searxh sophia. Or use Small world to do so.

      • Yod on January 8, 2026 7:41 am

@Fax So whaat you are saying is that the new power patron support would perfectly synergize with this? Because the boss has a similar summoning condition, and it also can speciffically search dark fairys

it very much looks like its meant to be a control style deck that grinds you out and keeps generating advantage, drawing more cards and summoning more things, with Whiteface and the traps acting as disruption and the Ritual/Fusion/Synchro/Xyz acting as passive buffs for the main guy (since their effects are continuous and dont need to activate).

seperately their effects can act as a means of taking the one summon type your opponent’s deck specializes on and just fully wiping their field and grave

issue is, theres simply not enough main deck 1 carders for this to realistically function in advanced constructed. AND you cant use the board/gravewipe if your opponent uses links and/or pends mostly. maybe itll be genesys playable due to lower power level and no need for those 2 summoning types…?

but idk these dont read like very good cards to me, as is. they kinda just, need more main deck cards that do the thing, only rehearsal and the ritual actually act as 1.5-card combos, everything else is a 2-card combo which is a horrible idea in a deck with only up to 15 different main deck cards that can be activated/summoned turn 1. the fact you’re also locked out of ED effects for 2 turns means you cant reliably use this as an engine in most decks either so… either this gets the most unbelievable wave 2 ever or this reads like Argostars 2 to me

      • StickDrift05 on January 8, 2026 12:35 am

The Link and Pendulum will be added in Chaos Origins. but watch the Link be a link-1 that searches a field spell lmao, plus maybe a counter trap, equip spell, and whoever new face is being the lacrima of the deck idk

      • Dakota on January 8, 2026 1:00 am

this strikes me as something of a swiss army knife of decks….alot archtype decks tend to focus on a particular summon mechanic,so this archtype is built in a matter that it can rabidly adjust to giving the middle finger at what ever kind of card your opponent is commiting to.

and more so there are a few weird older cards that are really hard to use since you need one of each a ritual, fusion,Xyz and synchro out…..and this is just the deck to make that stubborn condition happen.

take Sophia godess of rebirth, shes a body that hits like a truck and bannish wipes litterally ALL your opponents resources when summoned and her summon and effect cant even be responded too.

but she needs you to banish one of each card type on the field to play, which this deck supplies in a snap.

      • Yod on January 8, 2026 7:54 am

The win condition of this deck is most likely that the opponent has an empty board, and then they can get some damage in

They basically have quick effect mass removal for both graveyards and fields for most (sadly not yet all) monster types, which allows them to prevent the opponent from building a board

This archetype looks like they could be used as a secondary supportive archetype for many other decks, since their lock only applied after they you activated the summoning effect, and not before, so they can be used as additional disruption. Also since they use a lot of tributing and tribute summoning, they themself can get around some special summoning locks, at least for the boss

This deck on its own will disrupt and outgrind the opponent, and while it is combined with something else it will mostly add disruption at the cost of not having activated effects on the field from your extra deck options

This deck definitely has potential, but so see how good it is, we need the link monster, and we need somebody who is skilled enough to actually pilot it

oh yea, also this combined with monarchs is a no brainer

      Reply
      • EHeroMatt on January 8, 2026 3:53 am

It’s also a deck that has a bunch of Extra Deck Monsters that are easily Summonable and in the same set as Power Patrons recent upgrades that has an Illusion Monster as a boss that gives the options to play Nightmare Apprentice for the Illusion stuff for Power Patrons.

It’s probably going to be more of It’s own thing eventually. But the fact it can Special Summon resources the Level 12 Pendulum needs with ease isn’t something people should overlook imo.

      • shiki on January 8, 2026 7:04 pm

As a tribute engine? The rituals are just consistent advantage too. It is activated on being tributed, so something like drytron and megalith can take advantage of it.

Already teasing the new card huh, also, I really love how monstrous they all look

    34. Leo on January 8, 2026 6:38 am

One thing to note – Rehearsal doesn’t specify WHOSE monsters were tributed that turn and it’s during each End Phase. So, if you play against Mitsu you’ll always get at least 1 draw and if you nibbed an opponent’s board with a couple different monster card types, you get equally many draws in the End Phase.

My first impression of this archetype was “what a disjointed mess” but the more I look at it, the more I realize it has potential if you pair it with strategies that like to (or at least can) tribute a lot and can potentially be pretty terrifying in its boardbreaking abilities on both turns.

IF Herald survives the banlist, Fidraulis Harmonia is an insane tech in the deck since it has literally no downsides here (you can’t actibate the effects of Extra Deck monsters anyway) and it can either be a major disruption with Malong/Packbit or a decent one (destroying a monster, non-targeting either way) and get your stuff going by searching the Ritual. Even sending the new Stardust Synchro somewhat makes sense since it can net you a free body from the Extra Deck because you tribute so much, but you wouldn’t be able to activate its effect so it’d only be half-useful.

Just realized that this also pairs nicely with Lair of Darkness! The Fusion monster is essentially a second Mudragon, so a great target with Super Poly and Lair, and there are several cards that tribute for cost in this engine, meaning you can take full advantage of Lair. It’s starting to look like a pretty fun strategy! 😀 And I like that it can go first AND second inherently.

Do monsters forget from where they were summoned once they are removed from the field? I really hope so, because if not this whole archetype doesnt work

Also… come on, ofc the link one isnt included in the first wave, because if it has the same effect of shuffling back all links, it would be actually usefull

        Yes and No.

It depends on the wording on the ability that special summons them from the ED. In this case we special them from extra, ignoring their summoning conditions. This means they were not properly summon such as an effect of a monster with an alternate summoning condition like Nevra the Power Patron of Creation, or an affect would end in (This is considered a Fusion Summon).

This means stuff like Monster Reborn can’t revive them as they were not “properly” summoned.

Allen Walker is that you? Even that furry girl in the XYZ looks like Road Camelot

I love that I’m so simple to excuse how strange the cards are solely because the art is SO DAMN GOOD

Welp…we all knew it would happen one day. An archetype that can summon Sophia Turn 1 consistently. The new Power Patron cards can cheat out all the Extra Deck types in 1 turn, but these Clown cards do it even better, while including Ritual Monsters. A generic DARK Fairy searcher (Sophia) was just revealed too, so Small World is no longer needed either.

Sophia’s days are numbered now. Banishing all cards in existence at Spell Speed 4 (regardless of location) won’t be allowed for long. And doing it Turn 1 definitely won’t be allowed. You saw what happened to Trickstar Reincarnation.

Ironically the most hated decks, Maliss and Kashtira, are exclusively unaffected by Sophia’s effect lol

Maliss and Kashtira are solved by Majesty’s Fiend. This deck can turbo it out just as easily.

        Naw, kinda gimmicky

There’s one empty spot in the set above Clown Clan Flare. It would be nice if it was Paladin of Archfiend Dragon. Chazz’s Armed Dragon got a Paladin. I feel like RDA should get one too. Borreload has a Ritual, though its not a Paladin.

Man talk about clowning around this year.
But yeah the deck as potential with some like vanity’s or Monarchs and on its own.
Old cards like Sophia and others can be used now.
But just remember this is probably not all the cards yet.
