Information on the new YCS event in Brussels!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Brussels will be a Sealed Pack Play event, using Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series events are big, exciting 2-day tournaments where hundreds of Duelists from around the globe compete for fame, glory and all sorts of exclusive prizes. These events are also the perfect opportunity to Duel, trade and hang out with hundreds of other Yu-Gi-Oh! fans.
In addition to the main Championship Series tournament there are numerous Public Events, including tournaments specifically for Duelists born 2001 and later. This event is full of goodies, first of which, is an exclusive new playmat!
Isn’t it beautiful? Featuring all 3 of the Egyptian God cards in their original artwork, this playmat is given out to all participants just for entering the event!
YCS Brussels will be a very special YCS; Instead of Advanced Constructed, this event will be played as a Sealed Pack event! Duelists will receive 10 boosters of Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants, and construct a 30-card Deck out of the cards in those packs. This way, everyone starts out with the same chances, even if they do not own a high-end Constructed Deck! More information on Sealed Pack Play in general can be found here.
To avoid problems during Deck registration, and to eliminate the need for a Deck Swap, Duelists at the YCS Brussels main event will be given pre-registered card pools to construct their Decks. This will make it easier for everybody, as accidental mis-registrations can be avoided.
What’s more, players who make it into day 2 of the YCS Brussels will also receive a second participation Deckbox to keep their Sealed Deck in!
But a Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event isn’t just about the main event itself, there’s lots of Public Events that take place over the weekend for Duelists to take part in. From ‘Win a Mat’ tournaments to WCQ: Regionals and YCS Trials there’s something to appeal to everyone and some of the most hotly contested events are the “ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!” tournaments. These are tournaments where Duelists can compete to win super-sized versions of some of their favourite cards!
This super-powered version of Number 39: Utopia is unstoppable with its four arms that batter your opponent’s monsters, and its effect means it wins any fight it picks!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Brussels will take place on August 31st and September 1st.
