Note: Probably Rise + Rai (Lightning). Probably also Zeol(ite), a stone used as a combustion catalyst.

Seize control of the mysterious digital universe using all sorts of codes!
Note: Seize in Japanese can refer to clearing a game or a walkthrough for a game.

Theme 3: 竜華 Ryuuka (Longhua)
A high Level theme based around ascending to become dragons and centered around three dragons vying for supremacy!
Note: This theme is 竜 (Dragon) + 中華 Chuuka (i.e. an archaic name for China, pronounced Zhonghua in Chinese). Considering it’s three factions and they’re explicitly using a term that sounds almost like Chuuka, it’s probably a “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” inspired theme.

Yeah its honestly depressing how often they recycle the same 3-5 types every set. I’m tired of seeing giant robots, waifu warriors/spellcasters, dragons & fiends shoved down my throat. Give us more cool and actually playable stuff for types like Beasts, Rocks and Zombies.

Agree I think Konami is running out of ideas. The Tenpai archtype look like the Tenyi archtype. One of the only archtypes that I think have neat designs are the Ghoti archtype.

ikr, it’s like all they ever do is put artwork on their cards. It’s honestly so disheartening seeing konami constantly churning out these intricately designed, well-rendered, thematically adhesive and downright cool artpieces, how far we have fallen since the days of Twin Long Rods #2.
The biggest thing about these replies cherry picking archetypes is that they forget they’re talking about Mediocre Decks from a bygone era that has not seen support in years, ones that you never see played as often as the “Big Three” Card Tropes.
I’ll admit, I simp for Mechas. I’m a Rank 10 player and a Gundam Fan, but I feel the hurt alongside the Dragon fans because compared to the “Waifu/Loli” decks that Konami pushes out, we’re often given the Pack Filler effects and artwork.
Yes, there are PLENTY of other archetypes out there. You can cherry pick all day, but do you ever see them played? Do you ever see them being given meta support beyond that one guy in your locals that made it work?
Come on, we’re all playing a game with rules like legal jargon. You should be able to notice these patterns, too.

Talking like YGO OCG is a new game.
the three yugioh genders,: dragon, robot, woman
Early guesses:
– Raiseol: Explicitly an Xyz deck but probably like Spright in that it’s LIGHT/FIRE split.
– Malice: Almost certainly Cyberse. If it’s not another Link deck it’d be cool if it was a Fusion deck.
– Longhua: Maybe a Pendulum deck? Gonna guess it’s a tri-typed theme split between Dragon, Wyrm, and Illusion.
Now the real questions:
– Which of the three Decks will be the most competitive Deck?
– Which of the three Decks will be the most disappointing?
– Which of the three Decks will have the Ultra Rare ratio in the TCG?

Reptile’s already part of the Ragnaraika tri-type, but Sea Serpent isn’t a bad idea.
I think wyrm, dragon, Dino would make more sense. We’ve already seen those being paired up before.

Raiseol – Thunder, Pyro, and/or Machine theme. Maybe FIRE Thunder? Xyz monsters might need specific Type or Attribute materials based on description.
M∀LICE – Probably a mono Cyberse theme that needs certain conditions on the board to activate their effects/advance the game state. The backrow is likely based around the objects or places in Alice in Wonderland.
Ryuuka – A Wyrm theme with three boss monsters – probably red, blue, and green – that combine into the white one.
So, we have the following:
– Generic Mecha Deck Number XYZ
– Cardfight!! Vanguard Deck
– Arceus Dragon Type Deck
Basically, the trinity of these packages.

I’m stoked for M∀LICE, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is one of my all time favourite books, and Alice: Madness Returns one of my all time favourite games!!! I hope that we get cards based on all most loved characters . Alice, the Mad Hatter, Humptydumpty, the White Rabbit, the Mock Turtle and my favourite character, the Cheshire Cat!!!!

– Some weird amalgam of Stellar Knights, those Zefer cards, and uh *checks notes* those robot machines used to fight off the Worms from Duelist Terminal lore or whatever.

(By “building around”, I mean less “building a strategy with that as an end goal” and more “creating a theme to be home to this card”)

Loving all three of these aesthetically! Very curious to see how M∀LICE gets translated, since the last time we had an ∀ symbol in the name of an archetype it got completely dropped in English, which would be harder to do here.
They can’t traslate to simply Malice because we already have:
-Malice, lady of lament
-Malice doll of demise
-Malice Ascendent
-Malice dispersion
And some others
they could do M-Alice
A Alice in Wonderland archtype does interesting. I like when Konami does an archtype based on another property. It one reason why Kozmo is one of my favorite archtypes.
Same I even picked up the 3 tcg psychic cards that came out a couple months ago that everyone said was basically kozmo support easily one of my favorite decks.

Dragons, girls and machines. Why am I not surprised. DBP hasn’t done a single Insect theme. The only Dinosaur theme they’ve made doesn’t even count as an archetype. Atlanteans remain the only Sea Serpent deck. We still have no FIRE Ritual deck or WIND Fusion deck though somehow Chimera is now the closest that we’ve come. It’s been over a year since debut and we still don’t have a pure Illusion deck either.

since it’s computer themed, the M in M ALICE might me “Malware” – because computers
Alice is typically a name used in Cryptography as a placeholder name for someone sending a message (usually to Bob). So that might be the secondary theme.
In some notations, when an attacker is attempting to masquerade as Alice, the attacker will be called Malice, but that’s not a universal standard.
Surprised Malice wasn’t a TCG exclusive theme, since TCG usually gets the western story stuff.
Also, how much we gonna bet that the upside down A is gone in the TCG?
Considering the color gems on the back of the dragon match the colors often used to represent each kingdom for Wu, Wei and Shu, I’d definitely believe it’s another three kingdom’s archetype. Maybe they’ll be better than ancient warriors were, even if they won’t match the theme as well.
The name of the MAlice card resembles actual code,more specifically a data type. In some programming language “M∀LICE＜Q＞” could be read as M∀LICE of type Q (which definitely stands for queen). We can expect to get M∀LICE＜K＞ and and other playing cards .
Also the reverse A symbol is found in mathematics and is essentially a shortcut for “for all”,tho I doubt it’s mathematical meaning has any role in the name.

Raisol/Raizol – I’m making a guess on either being Thunder overall, or Machine with effects that are supported by other types, such as the shown Deadnader and Thunder, given he’s got a a segment of a Dam’s electrical generator in each shoulder
MVLICE – Its most likely Cyberse, but I’m going to hold off on anything else until the theme’s effects get posted. Given the shown monster is
Longhua – kinda torn between it being a Dragon or Wyrm archetype, or going with a Dragon/Wym/Illusion triad. But how much do you want to bet all three of the “dragons” have the Red/Blue/Green trio or orbs, and since Guanba has red on top, the other two will have blue or green rotated on top instead
