Nightmare hand but its not Yubel, sad
Is Máster hand and crazy hand
First effect is decent
Second requires some set up
All the current illusion decks can use the effect with barely any setup
@THEONE
Your opponent has to control a monster, so set up is a natural requirement.
Not control, just have it in gy
Second effect just requires both players to have been playing the game (even the purest Runick deck has Extra Deck monsters, and each Illusion deck has at least one Lv5+ either as a boss monster or en route to one that fits the bill! Even Azamina Fusion Monsters qualify! Heck, Nightmare Apprentice qualifies), if we’re gonna be honest with ourselves.
Honestly, the funniest thing I can see this being used for is “oh sweet, you used I:P Masquerena. Now I can too,” since the summoned monster is only banished at the end of NEXT turn, not THE turn.
@Baroque
You cannot summon Runick monsters from the GY that were summoned using the quick play spells.
Somewhat missing the point for the pedantry, Kooler; the post wasn’t me going “ooh, I could revive a Runick Fusion!”, it was me pointing out how common it is for a Deck to have at least one Monster afoot that even a deck known for being ninety percent Quick-Play Spells by volume could be expected to have SOMETHING that could end up in their GY.
Would you rather I have said “even Runick may run handtraps”? Or “even a Runick deck could tech I:P”? Is that better?
Good card for Hecahands, I believe Konami wants to fix the deck now in a desperate way lol
I wish she had had that thought with Gusto in TW3… But they would have preferred dragunity… I still haven’t gotten over this pain…
The art is Nightmare Magician casting a spell on players.
You Will Play Hecahands.
Hecahands was my first thought, too. Such a cool deck, honestly.
Hecatoncheire will love this
Instant 2-3 in Chimera builds
Can set up Coatl or Swordknight for a negate, or (if used at the end of the opponent’s turn) to foolish a Master Tao to revive a Swordknight . . . yeah, I can see this working pretty well there.
Really got my Yubel loving hopes up… cool card
This card reminds me… I still find it crazy how Illusion monsters were inspired from the type of cards Pegasus used outside of his Toons, but they have not actually remade any of his cards as Illusion monsters yet.
Oops, didn’t mean to make that post of mine a reply to somebody.
They should have just made it a hecahands card so it’s searchable. It’s decent you can send to the gy with the hecahands spell then special summon a hand trap they used
So cool!

I am with you on this its incredibly disheartening that we arent getting a revamp on the relinquished archetype atleast like 5 new cards with 2 main deck illusion and 1 extra deck illusio, but they can even push it to 10 since they can give an illusion version of a relinquished ritual monster too
It does help a bit that some Illusion support that fits its bill does also work with Spellcasters, but I absolutely wouldn’t say no to them pulling an “Electromagnet Warrior” sort of affair with Relinquished the way Yugi’s Magnet Warriors got something that brings the old deck into the new era.
Heck, let’s make it a twofer, drag Starter Deck Joey into the future as well, make it a matched set the way the Yugi and Kaiba Structure Decks were.
@Baroque
Doing a new duo set of Pegasus & Joey decks would be great. Besides new Illusion monsters, it would thankfully mean we’d get new Toons & Red-Eyes cards also. Further on that thought, I still want to see Red-Eyes versions get made of all the prize cards Joey won, for example a Red-Eyes Jinzo/Insect Queen.
Sad that it’s unsearchable, this card is pretty good
There’s no psychic versions of Esper Roba’s monster either. Psychic Shockwave should be summoning lv 7 DARK psychics I say!
@Fumetsusozo
I agree, that thought has crossed my mind before too. I get they don’t want to abandon supporting the original version of the card they printed, but come on. Which also reminds me, I still want to see a Red-Eyes Jinzo version for Joey’s deck get made.
Certainly better than the one for Enneacraft. Hecahands will actually play this.
Máster hand and crazy hand
Nightmare Leg when?
