The first image hypes the card as being “a new form of that one Link Monster”, and the second one mentions it’s “a Link Monster with a powerful effect(s)”.
The effect(s) will be revealed on December 7th.
As for the name, there’s a bunch of things going on. Much like Underworld Goddess of the Closed World, the name is very different in Kanji and its associated furigana: The Kanji name is 閉ザサレシ天ノ月, which following the translation of its predecessor, would be translated as “Moon of the Closed Sky”. The furigana, however, is “Saros=Nanna”, like its predecessor being “Saros=Eres Kurnugias”. Saros is a cycle to predict the cycles of solar and lunar eclypses, while “Nanna” possibly refers to Geshtinanna, a scribe of the underworld.

I mean, at least this doesn’t look like it’s supposed to be a *boss monster* of some description like S.P.E.C.T.R.A. is. So it being somewhere in mid isn’t as big a let-down. That being said, this card’s relation to the other Closed World card is definitely setting some expectations for what this card is supposed to do.

It would be great if it was an ip:masquerena+using your opponent monster. It’s to be some kind of support for the goddess. Otherwise, why this artwork. to me it looks like this is going to make it easier to go into the goddess, which in the end is a tower, so it makes sense if it’s a quicky. If it’s not a quick effect, then, it’s gonna be broken in another way, but always as a support for the making of her adult counterpart. Which makes sense. You make this and thenbahe naturally grows up into adulthood.
Maybe she can use opponent’s monsters she points to at link material ??
