Abduction sounds like it should of been Alien support.
Looks like UFO Roid in the artwork
Sadly Konami would never actually do something cool like that, or release support of a very cool archetype that needs it. They would rather release gross waifu loli deck #78
I love my gross waifu loli bait deck of Tenpai Dragon ruler.
Brain Control support; to damn bad that #klownmai decided to kill it instead of wating like they did with change of heart because they don’t understand a simple concept such as power creep.
Masterclass.
Brain controller no doubt to set up for Hyper psychic blaster
Bomber is just so awful. What was Konami thinking?
Brain Controller is decent in Psychic Synchro climb decks as a solid E-Tele target. (Ignore Brain Control.)
Abduction is really good and thankfully it’s a Normal Trap for Lab.
Hagun is situationally useful if you Equip a Level 7 that has an effect if sent to the GY in any way, and you Link the equipped monster.
Do it Early, Do it Tomorrow has situational use in Gren Maju.
Hagun is literally a searcher for every level 7 in the game and if your opponent doesn’t destroy the equip card you just benefit. If they do they had to waste resources going for that instead of a bigger threat.
We love End Phase searchers in 2025
Hagun is not even bad bad since you can just equip ruler name you are missing to another and xyz or link so the equip goes to gy and if you wait till end phase you can even add back miradrora the heavenly zephyr as hand trap. Its basically better and worse dragon shrine which rulers already dont run since they want minimal backrow count for attributes. Alot of builds baiscalky are like cbtg, gold sarc, ravine and 1 or 2 engine spells from your supplementary engine and just monster non engine whose attributes align with best rulers like tempest, spector and such, so even then it does nit exactly fit the bill
Ok so you *can* use bomber’s effect, but you just gotta use junk speeder and sacrifice wheel synchron instead of going into something like red supernova dragon
I bet a Super Rare card that Brain Controller never gets used; the fact that Brain Control can only go after Normal Summonable monsters means no Extra Deck stealing for you. Maybe it could be useful to put a weak body on your foes field to beat over for big damage.
Do It Right, Do It Together might be useful for Nemleria decks, but no opponent in their right mind would banish their ED even if they were running Pot of Prosperity/Extravagance.
Maaaybe Abduction could be useful, but the only decks I can think that could reasonably run this are Nemleria and Maliss, and the latter sticks to Cyberse aside from backup like Planet Pathfinder or Aloof Lupine.
Hagun seem to be the best card of the bunch, it can equip an icejade that special summons itself, maybe some other niche options.
do it early… sheesh, banishing 7 does nothing. maybe in some gimmicky deck and nothing else
brain controller, too much work for a synchro monster going second, cute. but not bueno.
the other 2 are just unplayable
I didn’t even think about Icejade lol, I guess it does work for that deck as another way to get to Gymir Aegirine if they’re really desperate. Another cope use for it is in a deck running Kashtiras to get another Kashtira to hand for followup.
Hagun slow-searches Sauravis in Dragon Link, that’s decent protection.
All I wanted was more Arcana Force support, Konami. No one is ever using these trash ass cards.
Abduction: (Trade offer)
My Decode Talker, Your Maliss Link 3.
Y’know? That Brain Controller card is actually kinda good.
everyone shut up im trying to think of some gate guardian shenanigans i can do with that Seven Star quick play spell
Is everyone missing the part where Brain Controller is at worst 2 free lv 1 Tuners off of E Tele? Doesn’t sound that bad to me. It summons itself to the opponent’s field so that you can take it back again with the Brain Control you searched.
Brain Controller might have been ok if it could search Mind Control as well but oh well, pack filler is pack filler.
What’s Hagun about? Just some really bad dragon ruler/kashtira searcher?
I don’t get why people are hating on Hagun. It reminds me too much of the equip spell arguments I see.
Oh it only increases Atk//Def by 300 and nothing else? one of the top 10 equip spells in the game.
Oh it increases your Atk by 500 or more and has this other useful effect? dogwater!
It just makes no sense to me.
Attach Sauravis to a Dragon and get a hand trap at the end of the turn or use it with Magistus/Invoked to make Chorozo.
Bet it’s fuel a Sword Hunter-like archetype in an upcoming booster
Outside of the promotional archetype for Duelist Advance and the monthly VJump reveal, it seems we’re not going to get many new OCG card reveals for some time.
Thanks to the team for keeping us up to date with ALIN.
Abduction should go insane in SEQ labyrinth. A big issue with SEQ Lab is getting all the levels and ranks to fit together. By running abduction. You can place any rank or level into the banish zone, letting you bypass some of the set-up needed for SEQ. Opening up the possible board states SEQ can out
Third core set in a row Konami has ignored Rituals. But of course they need room for 8 fusions or 7 Xyz covering 4 or even 5 different themes. Rituals can’t even get a single card.
Speaking of rituals, Brain Control not working on them is grotesque.
“Level/Rank/Link”
Cool cool now errata a bunch of old cards that only work with levels or level/rank coughDragonecrocough
In better times a change of heart that locked you out of the extra deck would’ve been neat.
Do it early should be immune to negate slop, if your opponent is going to throw most of their main and extra into the trash on turn 1 you should be able to win on the spot with a power mill card.
The Royal Straight Slasher reference is funny. But somehow it’s not a psychic while Jura the Curse is. Sure. OK.
In papas footsteps lore continues
Bomber Place sounds like an S-Force card
No more ignition cards?
Time for Psychic decks to finally pop off.
« Do it early, do it together » looks like a runick card, and considering the effect, it totally makes sense
